And so they should be countered by a slightly lower brow version of CNN?

Let me fix that title for you so it better keeps Kotaku theme: Asian Man Disqualified from Sex Scandal Plagued Magic the Gathering Tournament”

What happened to my ERP / eclair role playing joke I put here? It’s an old, long running joke from Balmung.. Well at least you fixed your typo I guess..

Hey now, I am pretty certain that ERP does not stand for ‘Exotic role playing’ though perhaps that was just a little typo.  It clearly stands for ‘Eclair role playing’!

Perhaps put Burchett’s name in the title of the article instead of a descriptor? “Black guy” or “Homosexual” or “Mexican” likely wouldn’t fly in similar circumstances.

This article is somewhat misleading. Looking through both metacritic and steam the vast majority of the negative player reviews have to do with microtransactions, connectivity and/or crashes.

Oh no, of course not, but we’ll keep it on the down-low just in case they actually are.

Time to switch to Social Creationism!

By this logic the Black churches burnt down (as mentioned by a few other posters) were also symbols for conservatives.

As much as I feel I should avoid this entire toxic forum and whereas I feel that shitting on people for doing good for one cause because they aren’t doing good for other a dozen causes is completely inappropriate and results in people never wanting to do good again period to this comment I will point out that the

As other posters have mentioned this is a parody - by which I mean a direct copy and paste with slight modifications and not really a parody at all - of a piece of artwork by an artist unrelated to the game. Why is everyone so concerned about one little word (seriously, if that upsets you so much, never watch Kids in

The product placement was about the same length as the actual article if you discount the liberal use of quotations. Speaking of which:

Review bombing is just plain silly nonsense as is product exclusivity.

Imagine a world where Walmart did this (because God knows they’d have the money to do it): Doritos, Oreos, Tide and Lego now all now sold exclusively at Walmart!

No mention for Discord’s ‘funny joke’? You know, the one they launched at midnight and reverted in about 4 hours when it came to their attention they did the equivalent of a TV network removing closed captioning or removing colourblind options as a ‘funny joke’?

Yeah, it’s so unfair when they don’t put everything I want in their video game! They didn’t even seem to contemplate adding the Arithmetician job and why can’t I play a Bangaa! ARGH! #FirstWorldProblems

Why was this directly posted on the Kotaku feed today? It seems somewhat irrelevant to video game + Japanese pop culture (though there isn’t half as much of that as there use to be honestly) news.
