Omg, I hate hate hate the water thing too! This is why I only wear my rings when I’m going out - it’s so weird to me that people aren’t bothered by wearing them all the time, even at home.

I was in a wedding two years ago and the bride gave us all monogrammed waffle robes. I still use the robe every day! (And I thought the shots of us getting ready in matching robes were actually pretty cute,  clichéd or not.)

I agree - she definitely had the self-awareness to know that had she decided to defend her son and not resigned the credibility of Time’s Up would have been deeply damaged. So that’s good at least.

I’m assuming that she could have stated that she believed her son’s accuser and kept her position as CEO, so she kind of cost herself her own job here because by choosing to support her son instead she’s in direct conflict with the organization’s core mission.

The blaxploitation is reprehensible, but she has dated a woman (a Victoria’s Secret Model I think?) and was an advocate for LGBTQ rights back when she was a Disney teen, which wasn’t really common for their stars at the time. So I don’t think she’s making that part up at least, just expressing it in a weird way.

You’re reading a lot in my comment - of course I thank her graciously then donate the items, and to her credit, she never mentions them again. She is a kind woman and I love her a lot, it’s just one of those things that irks me. 

I’m surprised to hear that - I live in the downtown area and new apartment buildings/townhomes seem to still be popping up constantly. It’s crazy to me that the prices keep rising and yet there’s still this demand for more housing.
