I’ve seen them at my grocery store as of last week so they’re still findable - they may be leftovers from last Valentine’s Day but I’m sure those things could survive a nuclear apocalypse intact.

The worst one for me wasn’t actually from my MIL but from my grandma - she tried to give me an old red babydoll nightie of hers that was completely sheer except for three strategically-placed heart patches on the fabric. It was horrifying. 

I’d personally like Marie Kondo to go to my MIL’s house and tell her to donate all her extra stuff directly to thrift stores instead of trying to foist it off on me. Being the frequent recipient of clothes purchased by a woman thirty years older and five inches shorter than me sparks no joy :/.

I think it was a religious school (I read that her family is/was very conservative). No wonder she’s at war with those nuns over the sale of their convent, they should never have suspended her!

Katy Perry’s suspension report is pretty adorable - I love how she was chastised for calling third graders brats. Sounds like fairly normal sixth grade behavior haha.

I haven’t! I’ll definitely look for it though bc I’d love to try it - I’ve never had a fish substitute before. 

I’m waiting for realistic artificial fish! I forced myself to start eating fish in my twenties so I would have an easier time when traveling (and I do love it now). It would be nice to have some vegetarian sushi that’s close to the real thing, especially varieties that are being overfished :).

I grew up vegetarian, so fake veggie blood sounds more appealing than real blood (but neither sounds great). It’s funny though, a restaurant next to my house has the impossible burger and I’m too squicked out to try it because it looks and smells TOO beefy. My meat-eating husband has had it and really enjoyed it…
