Of all the stupid baseball “rules” in baseball, getting kicked out for arguing balls and strikes is not one that needs to change. With the 50000000000 things that make MLB unwatchable, the last thing they need is players and coaches arguing calls like this--a borderline pitch that was inches off the plate.

You do realize that there are...you know...primaries. And that people vote on and have always voted on who the nominee is, right?

>>Any Democrat can beat Trump<<

>>>in states like Wisconsin and Michigan minority turnout/unimpeded GOP voter suppression had as much or more impact.<<

Westbrook seems like a really stand-up guy. But like everyone, he has his flaws. Like many people, he’s highly defensive—sensitive to criticism from others and o make things worse, he seems to shut down and go into passive-aggressive mode when he perceives it. That’s pretty much been on full display for the past 11

Agree with this.  I can appreciate this from a purely golf standpoint--one of the greatest coming back after he’d been written off. I can’t appreciate the personal redemption side of this...and can, in no way, see it that way.

Yeah, I thought the general consensus was always that Tiger was an asshole but really good at golf, so everyone looked the other way. Then, he did some really horrible shit that publicly humiliated his family, claimed an addiction to excuse it, and struggled with injuries. Now, his winning has grown men crying. It’s

Logically, what you are saying sounds like a terrible way of determining where someone is on the left-right spectrum. I disagree with how you are trying to evaluate someone’s overall political position at so many points, I’m not really sure where to start. First, even referring to it as a single left-right spectrum is

In what fucking universe?  Hard right compared to.....Marx?

You’re not getting much love here but I’m 100 percent with you. Also, these people are absolutely delusional if they believe that presidential campaigns are won and lost on actual policy.

I notice you don’t include Obama in there. Hillary ran, by far, the most liberal general campaign we’ve seen in a long time. And I think you’re delusional if you believe that campaigns are won or lost based on policy.

That’s really good evidence that he is center-left.

People talked like the transition to the NET meant that a team’s NET rating would be the primary criteria for determining bids. No. In the RPI days, record vs. Top 25/50/100 were always valued more than a team’s actual RPI. That was true these year—just with a different rating system.

Well, the difference is the word you used: Nimble. But first, Jokic isn’t just some big dude. Jokic is 7'0, 250. While he’s a little doughy, let’s get real. He’s doughy only relative to NBA players, who have like 5-7 percent body fat. He’s probably about 12-15 percent body fat (was reportedly 9 percent going into last

While I appreciate Deadspin’s love of Jokic, constantly talking like he’s physically just some giant version of a your regular couch potato is getting kind of old. The guy is not exactly resource poor in terms of physical tools. He’s 7'0, 250 with long arms, quick hands, and good feet. I can assure you that he does

This is a completely normal play when a defender wants to check a guy that far away from the basket.

Not only was it “not an illegal play” (aside from a slight lean in), it is a completely normal and good basketball play. “Reckless?” Are you kidding me? And does Giannis “NEED” help? Probably not, but his job is a hell of a lot easier without Bagley hounding him from the time line. You could see Brogdon’s screen

I don’t know that the president has the political capital to fire him. A lot of the fans (and I presume the donors) liked the idea of bringing Briles in and are pissed at Bennett for caving to the “SJW’s” (which apparently now includes people who support disciplining rapists).

I believe I saw Zion travel, too.

“...a jaw-dropping highlight that still can’t fully be explained over 12 hours later.”
