The internet outrage machine has finally found the one thing that we can all unite in holy protest against and it is vertical pizza holding guy.

That's mighty Christian of you.

“I’m sorry I got caught. I’m an asshole that beats women.”

I am so very, very sorry that turned out to be on video.

So you think that we Autistic women don’t exist?

Anti-vaxx movement stands against Autistic people by pushing harmful propaganda that promotes fear and prejudice towards Autistic people, the anti-vaxx movement has also seen a sea of money being used to disprove the myth of a connection between vaccines and autism -

I’m going to just repost what I said yesterday over on Gawker’s article. I’ve highlighted the part that any anti-vaxxer reading this should pay close attention to.

This “conversation” argument is such BS. If you had Wakefield debating a real doctor and both of them had to produce extensive research, that would be an honest conversation.

I’m taking a medical aesthetics course and my teacher (who has no actual science degree) is an anti-vaxxer

the First Amendment does not apply here. This is a private film festival. The first amendment is designed to prevent the government from punishing or preventing speech and expression. An organizer deciding to pull a film from a festival has zero first amendment implications.

No, the stuff around Judas Cum is NOT “perfectly adequate chocolate.” All 15 chocolatiers left in the country just had a simultaneous heart attack. Not trying to be a chocolate snob here, but neither the chocolate, nor the filling can hold up by itself. It only works as a tandem.

The lesson, as always: never tweet.

Well, if I’m reading Dictionary.com correctly, around 1600. So... a while ago.

I still prefer 1953's Lone Ranger vs. Superman: Dawn of a Lucky Strike Print Ad

Yes and no. We may all have vices, but not all vices are created equal.

In a publicly funded stadium it makes sense that the city can ban whatever the heck they want. In a privately owned stadium though, I agree that they shouldn’t be able to ban smokeless tobacco.

The fewer people who smoke or use tobacco products, the lower health care costs are for everyone.

Is anyone else uncomfortable with the public health costs argument for banning this? Smoking has secondhand smoke, fine. For smokeless tobacco, the only way it harms anyone else (other than being a bad example for kids) is that in the aggregate, public health costs might go up if we have to treat people for whatever

Curt Schilling being decent and making sense just makes the other 95% of the times we hear from him that much more aggravating.

If I was a lady player, I’d go down every night on my knees and thank God that Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal were born, because they have carried this sport.
