Harper? Guy’s a bum, haven’t you heard? Flash in the pan, can’t get it done anymore, washed up before he even turns 24 years old. Plus he’s a gaping asshole with a punchable face; everyone says so. You can have him.

Well, 2012 was a choke, what with blowing a 6-0 lead in Game 5, and in 2014 there were definitely reasons to gripe about Matt Williams; I gave him a pass on pulling Zimmermann in Game 2 that year, but his bullpen management in Game 4 was atrocious.
Meh.
It’ll be earlier than that; the last subway train leaves the nearest station at 11:39PM.
I honestly haven’t given the future any thought, and won’t till the Nats’ season ends.
Nah. Brian Goodwin will be the next guy to get a shot out there (assuming Turner moves to SS).
Stephen Drew would be an obvious choice to replace Espinosa in the lineup, but Drew hits left-handed, and Maeda’s the only right-handed starter the Dodgers have run out there this series. Dusty apparently values Danny’s defense more than the potential upgrade on offense, because Espinosa started that game, too.
I’m with you on this.
“Tanner Roark’s season is wtf and makes no sense, but whatever!”
I’m not disputing that the game was tense, exciting, taut, however you want to describe it, but how exactly could the announcers hype a game where no one safely reached third until the top of the 8th, and other than Granderson’s catch, there wasn’t much that wasn’t routine?
Question for Casey...
“alter boy”
Beltran’s not even close to the last guy to wear #15, and someone named Matt Reynolds wore it this year.
Still can’t believe they’re besmirching the memory of Jerry Grote by letting someone else wear that number.
The Cole pitch and clearing of the benches were the last events in the chain yesterday.
The two stadiums are within a quarter mile or so of each other, separated by a couple of parking lots and a highway overpass.
I have similar thoughts when I see signs saying “Slow Children At Play”

It’s a whole lot more than 100m.
Nantz and Simms did Sunday and Thursdays on the NFL Network last year.
