Sorry, but if they had made him look nothing like the comic version the majority of people would be complaining about that.

How he looks is no big deal. I can't help but see him and think of the character he plays in Band of Brothers, which would actually fit rather nicely as Abraham.

I think the TV Abraham is going to be a bit different than comics Abraham.

Yes, the guy that is playing him looks ridiculous as Abraham. He is supposed to be a giant and intimidating looking. It seems like everyone loves this,actor so we are in the minority.
