Dishonesty you CAN'T work with. You can work with getting to the merge with less players, sometimes, but if you can't trust your tribe you are lost.

I think you'll be hard-pressed to find someone that agrees with ranking Amazon so low. Personally, it is my 2nd favourite season, and I'm not even a big Rob fan!
Like Rupert stealing people's shoes. "We are pirates!"
I had to pause and watch that scene again (I watch it on cbs.com), because I just couldn't believe he actually said that at that moment. I was asking myself "Whose confessional is that?"
What kind of Survivor expert doesn't even bother practicing fire-making before going on it? Even no-collar Joe learned it, by watching a video on youtube!
Then we find out he made a tatoo just to trick his tribe-mates. Take that one Fairplay!
Man, my pick-4 is on the stars! I took Sandra (Cherilyn), J.T (Joe), Tom (Mike) and Kim (Shirin).
Yes, telling him "Yeah Vince, I thought you were nice, but now I see you are just another sociopath. Maybe we should part ways…" might not be the best move here.
I feel this would only be fair if the White Collar tribe could change puzzles (I'm not sure if they could or not). Then if I were Shirin I would just get the 10 pieces one and copy the no collar.
Hahaha well, Drew didn't do very well himself, did he?
Carolyn, Joe, Mike and Shirin.
So this Joaquin is the new Drewchebag?
It seemed to me at the time that Josh blown her off because it was the same answer as before, like "oh, ok, we've already discussed that. I thought you were going to give me something else".
I don't want to enter the Jenna discussion, but I feel you are severely underestimating her game. She was no strategic mastermind, but she had a very good social game. Which is why she wasn't carried along as a goat like MB, but instead had to win the last two immunity challenges. And she picked the right person to go…
Perhaps the main difference is that Amazon was way less dependent on strategy for entertainment than current seasons are (both for its time and more importantly because it had great characters).
I don't know, I think all things you mentioned are valid for Jeremy too, but he was a huge character. And the fact that retrospectively looking she indeed was a good player pre-merge and still they gave her so little attention only speaks against their edit of her this season.
It is weird that when I watched Caramoan I didn't hate it, but now looking back at the season all I remember about it is negative (I would add to your list the bizarre request by Brenda for Dawn to show her teeth (or lack thereof)).
Or if they bring back Natalie and she lies to everyone that she is Nadiya so they don't vote her out.
I disagree, I barely remember seeing Natalie before the episode when Jeremy is voted out, which is bizarre for a winner. I imagine how she must have felt watching those first episodes and barely seeing herself. "Wait, did I really make to F3 or was I dreaming?"
I would have much rather had a rites of passage than 30 inserts of Jeff live talking to random people.
