It was Jaclyn that said "Did Alec vote for himself?", which I hope was just her bringing up the subject, as it is not only AFAIK against the rules, but wouldn't even make the math work.

She got the JT AND Tyler edit (crying about loved one). That is double winners right there.
At least this episode they didn't even pretend like last time that Jon spent more than 5 minutes looking for it before he found it.
Yeah, I understand your point, I guess it is one of those things that different people have different opinions on. To me the Outcasts double episode was the coolest Survivor episode I've seen to date, I absolutely loved it. But I get why other people feel differently.
I don't know, I feel that as long as it doesn't help player A as opposed to player B, it is not unfair, at least in the sense of fair game, and so it doesn't bother me. The Perry Idol is bizarrely unfair, but anyone could have found it, so it didn't benefit a particular person.
Well, if they were so sure there was no other idol, why would they split the votes in the first place? And she doesn't have to convince people he had an idol, she has to convince them that she thought he had an idol. Maybe say she saw him digging somewhere or saw something suspicious in his bag.
I don't think that the fact they didn't know voted-out people could return makes it unfair, just as the fact that players usually don't know whether it is going to be a F3 or F2 before the very end is unfair.
Compare that with Rupert almost strangling Fairplay when Fairplay tried to vote him out and didn't succeed.
Well, to be fair even then it is hard to imagine Alec doing much better.
The point is, does her move looks the same to those inside the game as to us that have seen her say the entire episode she wants to take Jon out?
Yes, taking out Jaclyn now would most likely revive the post-merge "boys alliance". Jon would be pissed at them and want revenge, and for Keith and Alec it would give them an actual chance of F3 (even though they would lose), instead of getting rid of at F5 with the women.
Maybe it was my own prejudice against Jon, but I felt his father's story at TC was meant to make Jon look bad, not good. Especially with Jeff and Keith saying right after it how he was clearly playing for the Jury.
I can't say I wasn't screaming at the TV "vote out Jaclyn!" also, but I
do feel it would be dangerous to have a 3 men 3 women final 6 with one idol in each alliance. Not sure if it would have been a bad move, but I don't think it is so clear-cut it was the best move.
I could deal with basically anyone winning this season, EXCEPT for Keith. Man, he has absolutely no clue how this game works, to have someone like him being the Sole Survivor would go against everything this show stands for.
Has anyone seen Alec's Ponderosa video? He making fun of Jeremy for being voted out before himself was wonderful.
I was wondering, do you have any examples where Jeff actively changed how the game would go by his questions and speech? In all seasons I watched so far I can't remember seeing that happening.
I don't think it was spot on. You can't change how things are perceived by the Jury, it looked to anyone there that it was Natalie's move, pretending it was his move instead only makes Jon seem like an ass.
"I'll act like I'm pretending that I have a pact with Reed so that I appear desperate and people don't realize I actually do have an alliance with Reed!'.
I think it is disputable that Keith's idol was played correctly. That depends on what Keith's objective was, whether playing for himself or for the couple.
At first when Keith said "Wes, take the idol from the bag" I thought he meant he was being voted out, so Wes should keep the idol… but no.
