I wonder what would have happened if Dale tried the fake idol thing last week, instead of now that was too late.

I feel Missy is good for the quit club. She was portrayed as an overprotective mother this episode, barely got tv time before. She may either fall on the sword for Baylor or Baylor is voted out and she goes crazy.
People are not purely strategic, there is the question of trust. It is impossible to do a move like that without trust (and clearly Missy + Baylor and Kelley + Dale totally distrusted (even disliked) each other).
Oh yes, I forgot about the preview for a moment there. Oh, what a bummer, I actually got a bit happy for this girls alliance.
Another question (yes, I'm listening to it 1 am on a Friday night). Do you think the girls will keep the girl alliance and set themselves on top of the blue tribe, or is this a one-time thing? It seems that now they already got the taste of it, it should be very easy to get one more vote and put themselves on top of…
I just saw Cook Islands, and man, Top 2, seriously? The comeback is very satisfying, and that makes for a good season, but it starts on episode 10 (!). The first two-thirds of the season are quite boring.
As a new fan, I watched Borneo a couple of months ago. My impressions are that it is quite good, one of the best seasons. But it is a whole different game from nowadays, and in a sense even from the other earlier seasons (the earliest other season I watched is Amazon).
Are you sure? I haven't seen that many seasons, but as I recall after the switch usually the tribes get the same number of people. Isn't that the whole point anyway?
This episode seems to be the new textbook example of self-fulfilling prophecies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik… …
There are exactly 4 single players (Alec, Natalie, Jeremy and Julie), so get two for each tribe, and then each tribe can just choose one of each pair and the other goes automatically to the other tribe. So it could work, yes.
There is nothing more classy telling a girl she looks like a man.
Coming late to the discussion, what impressed me the most about this episode is how it seems to be horribly edited in a way that takes out all the surprise out of an actually quite exciting ending. I don't see why they didn't edit this as a "ah this Rocker thing is totally a red herring, Baylor is certainly going out"…
On the other hand isn't it kind of suspicious if the person on the bottom doesn't seem nervous or trying to flip people? I mean, okay, Rocker is nowhere near a good player, but I guess that whole "Let's just get over with this and go vote" vibe would make many quite leery.
