Like a true hero. I salute you and thank you for your sacrifice.

Your defense of the Jeep scene means a Wrangler earns its angry eyes

Then how do you explain Trail Mix? I mean who even wants raisins with their M&Ms?

The trick is to rub some coffee grounds on your gums after you snort the coffee.

People aren’t taught that these systems are in addition to your driving, not a replacement for it. Of course this falls on the manufacturer (looking at you Kia) that portrays auto braking as a “do whatever and it’ll save you” feature.

Justin I believe there has been a misunderstanding here. Trail Rated on modern Jeeps simply mean it will safely navigate shopping center parking lots and the occasional drive over a curb or parking block.

This was my experience as a Lincoln owner. Everything was a fight to cover under warranty. then under CPO they weaseled out of everything. They also chose the clear the light and send it diag method. So you can understand my frustration when at 80k just outside CPO they finally agreed to diag it and wanted to charge

I’ve just given up on connecting with car guys. Forums used to be great. But FB is awful, and the reddit car communities are so god damn toxic now that I just don’t bother. Reddit is bad for the voting because usually anything factual seems to get downvoted.

They shouldn’t have CPOd a wrecked car. Let alone just glossing over any possible damage.

Hey. Actual professional here

Jalopnik has a massive hard on for Hyundai and Kia products. They seem to be able to do no wrong. You can’t be critical of them whatsoever either.

Why be a dick to the guy just selling the car? And LED lit logo is hardly that big of a deal.

Hourly rates at dealers are insane as you can imagine. And the labor involved in tearing down a classic car is often high. Usually because you’re dealing with broken or damaged fasteners. It’s just impossible to compete with independents on that front. combine that with the fact classic owners tend to have short arms

Without having seen your ad but looking at the car. It’s very polarizing and you may be asking too much. 987.1 isn’t super desirable other than people looking to spend the little extra to bump out of 986.2 territory. Yellow “ceraminots” painted calipers on steel brakes, replaced wheels, the dreaded IMS (which is

The unfortunate part is most dealers don’t seem to want it. Quite a few dealers throw a fit about having to work on 993s. The dealer network has drastically changed unfortunately.

Plenty of slow Acura’s and Buick’s and entry level Lexus 🤷‍♂️ And all those brands sell like gang busters. Just like Mazda.

The DME isn’t under the driver’s seat though.

Better at burning a hole in your wallet, yeah. I work on enough of those dumpster fires to recommend you don’t touch pre facelift 986/996 with a 10 foot pole. Not every one will drive you broke, but a lot will.

Except hybrids were a proven and successful technology. It’s no clue why they’d waste their time and resources on a poor performing Diesel engine, or a holy grail gasoline compression ignition engine.

What? Mazda’s move to slightly upmarket has been pretty successful. They can’t compete if they don’t let go of the outdated 2.5 and 6-speed auto that they use. That’s the biggest thing holding them back.
