Oh hey. It’s almost like I said the exact same thing at the bottom of my post.

What ass are you pulling any of that information from? Tons of OEMs use CVTs. Nissans biggest problem is the ones attached to the VQ and in the SUVs. They do fail on the I4 models but not with near the regularity I’ve seen and done on the V6s.

There actually has always been a service interval for them. It’s just that (like all transmissions) nobody wants to follow it.

It’s too high to be considered worth collecting. This is a decent price at $2500-$3000. The price was revised in the original ad which is more fair, but still slightly high.

What enthusiast would prefer a first gen legend over a second? People that haven’t driven them?

Solid CP. there just isn’t an enthusiast market for first gen Legends. If it was the drastically better looking (and driving) second gen Legend? It’d be worth it. But definitely not for a first gen. Not to mention the high mileage and mildly appalling wheels.

Don’t forget the cost of certifying it with the EPA and IIHS

It’s outrageous. And it’s a very complex system with tight tolerances.

Pony up a little more and you can get the sport turismo without the center divider.

And from my experience it’s extremely true. The only customers I have who genuinely care about the price of anything are rolling around in $7000 base cayennes with 180k on them or base Macan buyers.

Until we call the carmax warranty company who then refuses to cover the repair until it’s attempted by carmax.

Carmax is notorious for backing out on their extended warranty now. Especially after Demuro. Their in house oil jockeys are tasked with attempted fixing things until they break something and it needs to go to the dealer to be done right. Not to mention when a Porsche goes to carmax, it usually has issues.

Considering the Carrera and Carrera S (and their 4 counterparts) are the only 992s currently available in the US, that’s why you don’t see any other 911s right now.

I remember. I also remember objectivity. You could post something and it wasn’t a flood of hate like it is now. You could have conversations. Not anymore.

Damn. It’s funny that “everybody can have an opinion so long as it matches ours.”

The Silverado isn’t good either. But the Hyundai/Kia circlejerk is awful around here. You aren’t allowed to be critical of either brand.

Because you share a lens prescription with Stevie Wonder.

Aw, bless your heart. It’s okay. The internet is a rough and rowdy place sometimes.

Is it some kind of prerequisite for you to get shitty with someone on every single blog you post?
