Looking at you Jatco*** they spun off Nissan quite a few years before they did the CVT takeover of the Nissan brand.

Man that was a lot of bullshit being spun. You sure you aren’t a politician already?

This is tech that would otherwise already be in a fully loaded Sonata.

Oh boy. There’s so much wrong here. The IDX would definitely bleed the company dry. Remember when everyone here swore they’d rush to buy the BRZ/FRS? Yeah. Sites like this and reviewers are why the IDX and similar concepts didn’t get made. Reviewers praised it and it still sells poorly. The 370Z in its old age still

Don’t know why you have so much hate in your heart. But okay.

I apologize. I forget the R51 was on f alpha. The IRS makes me forget that.

GM didn’t kill Saab. They sold it.

Probably bankrupt because some car guy would figure out that you should just build what people actually want.

They’ve never been terrible looking cars. A little bland but not awful. The new redesigns for the sedans are actually fairly good looking for regular sedans.

Out of the Greys for you.

Nissans current crop of new products aren’t bad. But that’s the problem. They aren’t good either. There’s nothing that edges an Altima out over a Camry. Or a Pathfinder over a Highlander. And despite Hyundai’s hideous offerings, they still offer a hell of a deal on their cars and a great warranty.

I think it’s more so because they came in and saw people already made the prerequisite “hurr durr IDX will save em” argument and figured their job was done.

You’re right. A car that will sell even more poorly than the 370Z is a sure thing to save the company.

The pathfinder was never really a “relative” of the Xterra. The first gen was a WD21 chassis, but by the time the WD22 Xterra rolled out the R50 Pathfinder has already been on a weird unibody since 1996. The Pathfinder only moved in the direction the market dictated. Especially for around the time car based crossovers

The problem is the amount of design flaws and stuff you know will fail on a 970. Especially with one that is a red flag special like the one above. You could easily find $10k+ of work it will need without batting an eye.

The plastic thing at the center of pizza is to prevent the top of the box from coming down and pressing into the molten cheese

Funny you say this. I dumped my MKZ because of the god awful dealers, poor fit and finish, and reliability. I looked at new Lincoln’s and was unimpressed. The materials are okay, but the fit and finish still isn’t there.

There is no bulb sensor. The headlight control unit monitors the integrity of the circuit to determine if there’s an bulb.

This is a completely different animal than the Saab

No need to be concerned with red flags when all the flags are red lol.
