It’s a mix. Their dealers are still pretty bad but the cars have oddball issues that tend to be extrapolated because it’s almost like they don’t catch them in a reasonable time (or just ignore it).

Aww poor baby. Are you upset as a current Hyundai owner?

I don’t understand what I missed where Hyundai became Tesla. You can’t say anything about the brand for some weird reason. Despite documented evidence of the issues where they even had a recall for engine failures.

Not BMW. But last BMW shop I seen didn’t have half their stalls with an engine dropped.

Even if you account for the difference in sales amounts it still doesn’t even come close (not BMW btw). Half your shop shouldn’t have engines dropped on cars that are still within warranty

Might be just Texas then  because it’s certainly not like that on the east coast

According to other commenters here your husbands car doesn’t exist. Sorry.

Just looking at your chart alone makes me know it’s bullshit lol. Just because Hyundai has people hopping from lease to lease doesn’t make them reliable.

When you work for a manufacturer you can comfortably say what products you recommend and what products you don’t.

Or it’s possible that 3 cars out of several hundred thousand were good?

I’ve got too many friends who work for Hyundai Kia to know that they aren’t good cars lol. People just don’t get upset because everything is covered for 100k.

And the trick is that those still aren’t selling. But sales are sales.

Having friends who work for Hyundai and Kia, you’ll be using the warranty a lot. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a shop that does so many engines. Be it rebuild or replacements.

It’s not though. They can’t assign it to an individual, they sure can assign it to that tag/registration

Boy that thing is an eyesore. Is that what “sharp” is nowadays? Not to mention the weird mish-mash of the rear deck lid being from a current gen Civic and MKZ.

Sedans aren’t selling. Flat out. Killing the volt was a reasonable business decision.

Porsche got burned once by an Audi diesel. Doubt we’ll ever see them in the US again. Maybe in Europe though
