You won’t find that kind of stuff at a lot of salvage yards. Hardly uncommon. There are quite a few specialty yards. But LKQ (one of the biggest in the business), there’s super low demand for older cars. Why take up that 15'x6' space with some POS old car that brings you a couple bucks here and there, when you can put

Auto auctions keep the batteries in the vehicles often because if it’s capable to be driven through, they drive it through. It’s a fairly common practice.
It’s doubtful that happened here as batteries are a HUGE recycling perk. $10-$15 (depending on your core man) per battery. So it’s unlikely that was the cause

lolwut? The wanding is not a widespread thing done at pick and pulls. And the whole thing is they don’t want you stealing. Fuck them, right?

Depends where you are in FL. I think all the obvious tourist areas are bad (orlando, daytona, miami, etc) but the rest of the state I didn’t think was awful. At leaSt as far as drivers went.

Because cheap. It’s not rocket science. It’ll be cheaper at car max than a porsche dealer.

Carmax is a shit show when it comes to sports and luxury cars. They are cheap and will do everything bottom dollar and stick the customer with a huge headache.

“I made one wrong turnand I was in Virginia. And then I accelerated hard out of frustration and received a speed camera ticket. Think about that for a second. One wrong turn and I was out a hundred and fifty bucks and driving in another state.”

I’ve driven them as well. Haven’t made the mistake of owning one however.

lolwut? That’s quite far from bullshit. The interior was typical GM for the time. The car received little to no praise for it’s interior. Know why? Because it wasn’t very good. Seats were uncomfortable, materials were poor, fit and finish was better than expected but still pretty iffy.

also not full size. Keep on moving up.

Then you’ve never seen an Impala.

People complained about the price, the styling, the interior, etc.
Everybody waxes poetic about it now. But the G8 when introduced was not a great car. It sold relatively poorly (despite enthusiasts saying it would save the brand), it had an abysmal interior, and it just wasn’t the car it’s hyped up to be.

I’ve driven them. The 180SX was also garbage out of the box.

It’s still not accepted. It’s obvious whatever school you went to didn’t do much past 9th grade.

Bad news champ, some of us actually know what we’re talking about and you got called on your bullshit. Be butthurt all you want.

You replied to a 3 year old post. Go fuck yourself.

You’re glossing over one of the bigger reasons for people to buy a sedan over a hatch. Perceived security. In most hatchbacks all that lies between a thief and any valuables you have have behind the rear seats is a pane of glass and a thin parcel shelf.
Either way. It’s a free market. If people want to buy sedans (as

Then people would buy a sedan from another manufacturer.

You need to look a little closer. The body panels are misaligned basically through the entire car. Unibody cars are easily totaled because of the amount of crumple zones designed to dissipate crash energy. To the untrained eye it looks like it’s just easily pulled out. But this likely required removing and replacing

With all due respect; the same formula is applied whether it’s a Bentley or an iQ.
