“Not only is a 240 lighter it has irs and is somewhat unique when it has a v8 in it.”

lol. Someone here who hasn’t bothered to research.

wut? All I’ve seen about their curb weight is 2700-2900.
Not that that’s anything to turn your nose up at. that’s still 100# off your original number.

My loaded 4th gen with T-Tops weighed around 3450 with no backseat.
What scale are you weighing these things on?

They always have been. Even the AWD models are FWD based systems (and not full time either)

You keep quoting Wikipedia which is universally regarded to have several issues with it’s “facts.” In fact, you’re not allowed to cite wikipedia for any actual papers or studies when in school.

lol. nice try champ. I work for Porsche and we’ve gotten Q5s on trade in.

Yeah the Macan drives nothing like the Q5. It is more responsive, handles better, rides firmer, etc. It’s like saying the GT-R drives the same as the FX35 because they share a base chassis design.

I work on cars for a living.

Holy shit. You are one stupid mother fucker. I don’t have near enough time to point out every thing you got wrong (let’s just say that none of it was correct).

lol good luck with any of that fantasy. Porsche’s pretty locked down on their software and bumping up the power won’t come cheap or without it’s problems. Even then, have fun when Porsche laughs you at the door when you ultimately end up damaging the Audi sourced transferbox or transmission.
Definitely don’t put any

The PDK is actually Audi’s DSG with different programming.

Star click for getting a 17. They have some pretty god improvements that make it a more appealing option. The new PCM is a HUGE plus (and way better). And there’s finally a little lid/cover for the little pocket ahead of the cupholders (houses a power port).

The engines are not the same. And supercharged Audi engine is used in the Hybrid Panamera/Cayenne. Not the Macan. The 3.0 and 3.6 are Porsche engines. The transmission unfortunately is all Audi (it’s a DSG box that Porsche calls PDK). And unfortunately even with the revised tuning it’s not problem free.
The Q5

Seriously. It’s a new car. As in you can go into a dealership, buy it new off the lot with nothing more than delivery miles (I’d say 0 but that rarely ever happens due to PDI and shuffling at port).
And again. It’s heavily reworked over the Audi it shares a basic architecture with. By your logic, why buy an ATS? the

James Dean’s death had nothing to do with Porsche driveability (he was hit by a truck). Paul Walker wasn’t driving and the entire thing was because they were driving too fast for conditions.

It’s a new vehicle and caters to an entirely different type of buyer. So you can’t compare it to anything used, and it stands somewhat on it’s own because there’s not much that really drives anything like it. Sure it’s Audi based, but Porsche puts some serious reworking into suspension and drivetrain tuning.

Not everything costs the same. You know that, right? The Macan comes with rear LED lighting and the LED lighting package option for the front is totally different than the LED accent garbage you’re thinking of. And as far as “lasting longer” is kind of up in the air as several companies are finding themselves having

very few people keep those things in there.
No clue how you’re managing to fit any kind of purse into a glovebox. Fuel credit cards are usually always kept on a person (I’d fire an idiot who left their fuel card in the glovebox).
Again. There are minimal returns because not everybody is an absolute idiot.

Not disagreeing with you entirely. I don’t vape and I’m not a fan of it. but the popcorn lung thing wasn’t entirely proven. And popsci is in things for headlines and clicks. Much like Jalopnik, I don’t expect unbiased journalism from them.

I’m sure there are health detriments to it and all that. But I’d rather the FDA
