“Best looking lexus”

Modify away. It’s unlikely the NA models will become future classics. Sort of like the NA Supra. MkIV only gets higher value because it’s easy to modify. Turning an NA Z32 into a Turbo is considerably more work.

Reread. “Later” P2 chassis. I haven’t seen an 07+ V70 or XC70 with rear facing seats.

Why haven’t we seen it before? Because $220/ea is a little absurd for winter tires. Considering you’re replacing the summer or all seasons.Ford is also a little late considering winter is nearly over. And you can get cheaper winter tires from a reputable dealer.

Last I checked the XC70 and later P2 chassis V70 ditched the rear facing seat. And not all E350/E550 came with the rear facing seat.

Lolwut? I find these all the time with service histories. Hell it’s pretty common to at least include in the ad when the last major services were done (timing belt, water pump, 4c struts, etc)

I’m going to go with no because crash safety.

The amount of NP votes is shocking. Considering it’s a European car and the ad lists no service history. The interior is in shambles and the console is broken. There is newspaper covering up stains on the carpet.

Console is also broken (it has the old flip door design on the cupholder), it has zero maintenance history, interior is in terrible condition, has sort of shitty mods (radio, gauge, EST urethane upper mount)...

Until you pay double the price to replace the suspension, get a timing belt done, address that horrendous drivers seat and ditch the half assed radio & gauge.

Reliability isn’t that bad when it’s maintained.

Not really. This isn’t really a good indication of the market. This has a questionable service history, high miles, pretty trashed interior, and a general sketchy vibe.

You’ll likely be too busy crying about the cost of the maintenance and struggling to “hoon” the base model rental they put you in.

Except it’s not an LS. It looks like a regular built 350CI small block. Which is heavier than the LS because cast iron block.

Because this is jalopnik.com and we have to talk shit about things we can’t afford.

Hold the phone. What mid Atlantic area are you in? I lived in Philly for 2 years. And I work/live outside DC currently. The weather is pretty much the same in both places. And you can’t use Jalopnik readers as the example because most are idiots. There are enough winter tires rolling out of my dealer to pretty much

Gone thankfully. It was a reliability nightmare and was notoriously difficult to service. Especially by the untrained VW techs here in the US

Because you like having money?

Not everybody is looking for the same things. I don’t care about keyless entry. Many people dont actually. And if it’s such a big deal it is available. Your fit isn’t standard with a 3.6L VR6? What a piece of shit.

Because they are completely different vehicles. It’s possible for a company to make a good car and a bad car at the same time. The tiguan is not very good.
