They’ve solved these issues years ago and the oil system remains relatively pressurized. You’re not sitting for days at a time. You’re engine turns off for a few seconds, a minute at most. It’s not 1995 anymore. Technology has caught up.
The extra mechanical wear is minimal. I remember when the system came out I was

I’d kind of disagree so much. If we got snow at that frequency we’d be way more used to it. What usually causes a lot of this is the first storm or two and people just aren’t prepared.
You can get around decent on all summers depending on the quality of them. In fact I see more vehicles with all seasons than “summer”

I left Vienna at 6:30 and it was a disaster. I didn’t see any trucks in the 3-4 hours it took me to get home. 495 was understandably a disaster, but it went all the way up 270 past Gaithersburg. It was such a shit show.
But with all the hype about the snow storm tonight, the fact there was snow Wednesday just slipped

Yeah that gen Maxima was actually pretty decent. 2004 went kind of downhill with the size increase and really lost a lot of what made the previous gens so special.

There’s one problem. Volvo is a car company, not a tech company. Steve Jobs had presentations on rails. Never a live demo. And that’s how the technology world works. When you see companies try a live demo, it usually fails (IE: Microsoft Surface debut).

Volvo ran a live demo of a developmental program and it had a

That’s a side impact test. The test above is a small front overlap test. Quite a huge difference in how impact energies are dispersed and the systems involved.
There’s a small amount of rearward movement in a frontal collision. But nowhere near the force as a rearward collision.

the V35 G/Skyline was those “rubbery” plastics up top, and a lot of hard plastics around the console, door cards, etc. And they were painted plastic in a time when Nissan couldn’t paint a plastic to save their lives. So the paint would frequently chip off just by looking at it.
Great cars overall though. And I like

Just confirming this. Pretty much all sports cars and super cars require engine removal this way.

Volvo’s headrest system and seat design are for the event of a rear end collision.
frontal collision you go forward, so not really any need for the headrest. Plus gives better view of dummy movements like you said.

That a prototype of a software had a glitch? Pretty sure we’ve all used Windows Vista.

This should’ve been the highest star clicked comment.

Which isn’t false. The cars were not approved for the same crash test standards that we follow in the US. It’s also an issue being that it’s also not following the same emissions standards as well.

Nobody is saying this is safe. This is a bunch of idiots ruining their own personal old shitboxes. NHTSA has literally nothing to do with this.

1.) I’ve had idiots blow out tires in front of me which resulted in damage to my car and in one case actually puncturing my tire from the pieces of wheel they left in the road because they are usually running shitty rep wheels.

The problem is there are states without safety inspections. There are some where it’s whenever the title is registered to a new owner. and there are some where it’s an annual inspection with sticker. The problem is people “buy” inspections for these pieces of shit. And unfortunately police often don’t enforce it.

It sure is easy to lie on the internet, isn’t it?

It wasn’t really rubbish in 2007. You didn’t like it. But it was universally praised. Sorry that you’re wrong.

You made these claims against the PT Cruiser. Not the Chevrolet Trax. So you’re making up reasons to hate the PT Cruiser based off the Chevrolet Trax? k

Assuming you’re telling the truth, the valve stem (had it been installed improperly) wouldn’t have even held air. let alone “blow out” while driving down the road.

You

Only to the blind.

Settle down champ. He’s just saying that these two cars aren’t even in the same class so it’s kind of idiotic to say “LOL I PREFER THIS!”

It’s like the next time an article is posted for the new R8 I should just post a picture of a 4Runner and say “But I can have this more versatile and capable vehicle for $XX,XXX”
