An argument can be made. But I haven’t seen anywhere near the discounts on crew cabs that you see on single/ext cab trucks. Because crew cabs tend to be more “option heavy.” And that’s been the case up and down the east coast that I’ve seen.

It’s better than the old Mitsubishi based one.

And it still doesn’t look the same. The interior design has evolved. But it’s like bitching that the current mustang interior is the “same” as the outgoing mustang interior.

Except the Infiniti will actually be fun to drive and worth the money.

You do realize that is mostly for NVH, right? If you’re such a whiny bitch you can just pop that cover off pretty easily. Well. That’s if it still has it when you buy one used in 12 to 15 years.

Surprised you don’t have the Jalopnik Hate Train here.

Personally I didn’t think it was funny when he started. Still don’t. But Jalopnik is one of his biggest dick riders so naturally he stays popular with the generic “car guy” crowd.
My usual encounter with the average fan:

“HEY BRAH YOU SEE THE NEW RCR?!”
-no. I don’t

I really think it’s awesome of you guys to get in on that diversity hire. I mean there can’t be many blogs that are willing to hire someone who’s so obviously blind.

The Subaru Baja failed for a few reasons... It was a subaru, so it had a relatively small dealer network and questionable reliability (in public perception at least). It wasn’t really adept at doing truck things (the bed was tiny even with the flip out “bed extender). And it was too expensive. Because the much more

Are they offering $10k off on crew cab trucks? I see this argument if you’re looking for... You know... a truck. But to get a crew cab I think you’d still be spending a decent amount more.

Well there’s quite the problem. Because it’s a space saver spare. Not a full size spare. So you’re not going to be able to “haul” anything in the bed and use that at least on your rear axle.

Go home, skymeat, you’re drunk.

People keep buying into the “bumper to bumper” warranty idea and then are shocked when it doesn’t include it. Granted I’m sure Doug has enough common sense to not drive on a flat tire for 10 miles and demand a new tire. But if something goes wrong mechanically, what’s to say they won’t try to pin it on an “aggressive

Again... Wat.

It’d be funny if I hadn’t sold so many rotaries or rebuilt them for customers so many god damn times. The issues definitely haven’t been solved.
And heavy consumption of oil is still a flaw. All engines are designed to consume some oil. Even for it’s intended purpose the rotary engine is excessive. There’s a reason

I’m 6'. I just leaned over and made it out the window just enough to pay tolls/garage attendants, etc. I park in quite a few garages and never had an issue. Sure I may have to be unbuckled and buckle as soon as I’m out the gate. But I wouldn’t write off RHD cars because of that.

It was an econobox. I’m 6' and found no problems with the seating. It wasn’t an S-Class, but it wasn’t awful. There were enough sold that some people had to find it comfortable.

You must’ve missed the part where he described him as a threat and used his ruthless behavior as an example.
I don’t like Trump, but this article really is garbage. And the worst part is it’s typical Gawker garbage. Taking something out of context entirely.

Ah. The good old fashioned “OMG ROTARIES ARE RELIABLE!” argument.
Honestly I don’t find Rotaries that fun to drive. So I can’t be damned to defend their oil consumption or reliability issues. Let’s just say the “myth” is pretty well earned. It’s like the myth that Cadillac Northstar engines have head gasket issues or

I’ve driven several RHD cars here in the US.... Wat? There are some inconveniences, but it’s really not that bad at all.

Having driven the SVX.... No. No it wasn’t. Nor did it “go like stink” or was fun to drive.
Worst part is how I normally defend automatic transmissions. But it was an early 90's Subaru slushbox.
