How was it awful? In what way? It was an econobox. It did everything it was intended to do and sold in huge amounts. It was cheap, reliable and comfortable.
It gets knocked by the idiots around here because they think everything has to be cool and fast and ignoring the primary purpose of a vehicle.

Chiming in here. You’ll be pleasantly surprised at how quick the dealer will try to wriggle themselves away from that warranty. I keep hearing that as your bragging point. But having a customer who JUST traded in their Vantage V12 because the dealer had voided a HUGE repair bill because it wasn’t covered. I understand

I don’t understand how you read that as being a reality tv show. No clue.

To be fair it kind of goes against the idea in Infiniti for a “luxury” car. While a manual would be nice, they’d just reuse the same unit from the Z and, even though I like it, it’s a NVH nightmare and isn’t the smoothest of transmissions on the market.

I like Nissan but they really have to get themselves out of this CUV rut. Everything doesn’t have to be a CUV. They should take some of the R&D money for these goofy looking concepts, update the Z. Update their midsize truck (well, they did... just not in the US). Not to mention putting a little more focus on their

Except the Juke is selling exceptionally well as is the rest of Nissan’s lineup sans the Maxima. Being the new PT Cruiser isn’t a bad thing. Because that too sold very very well and despite all the hate it wasn’t a bad vehicle.
They still make fantastic vehicles however. You may not like the looks of them, but that

Except the new muscle cars aren’t old designs. They are inspired by old designs. But you’re speaking in terms of their outside appearance. Which has nothing to do with it.

I feel like there really isn’t a huge need for the catalytic converter to still be hugging the block like this. Considering it looks like the exhaust will be facing the front of the car, I’m sure there’ll be ten times more heat shielding to prevent idiots from touching the hot turbo.

I’m aware. That’s why I mentioned above that it was based off the A-Class.

Some of you guys have some low standards for “best” lol.
Best: Hard to say Macan Turbo or 991 Turbo S Cab just for pure driving pleasure. But out of “normal” cars? Probably the new Accord. Best damn midsize sedan IMO. The new little Mazda SUV is okay. I’d say that was the best in it’s class I drove.

I apologize. it came across as if you were saying they didn’t use any chassis from Nissan.
Even then. Two. The QX30 and JX35 are two platforms you didn’t mention.

If I tell you that you can still buy a W-Body Impala.... While on the market is a better more refined Impala and several other cars that mop the floor with the W-Body car.... Then yes. Being old can and does make something inferior.
He of course wasn’t saying that. But it does make purchasing a new car that is already

The JX35 (now QX60) is the Pathfinder/Murano in Infiniti flavor. Actually not a bad little crossover.
This used to be the EX. It’s not a terrible crossover. Actually kind of fun to drive. It’s based off the Z (FM Platform). But it’s a little bit of an old CUV at this point and is kind of hard to justify the price tag.

lolwut? Except for the new QX30 (which is based off the Mercedes A-Class) Infiniti uses Nissan chassis’ entirely. FM (which underpins the Z-Car) is under the FX (now QX70), EX (now QX50), G35/G37/Q50/Q60. The JX (now QX60) is on the D-Platform which is the Murano/Pathfinder. And the QX56 (now QX80) is just a revised

I need proof on this. because it sounds like a bunch of bullshit.
And it’s still a FWD chassis.

Take 5 seconds to google it and you’ll find plenty of sites. All of them pretty much confirming that power windows are similar in weight to manual windows or lighter.
Just because you’re too lazy to research doesn’t mean I have the time to do it for you.

You aren’t the ones buying these things. That’s correct. because like most cars everyone here goes on and on about. Barely anyone here buys anything new and mostly talks out of their ass because they are pissy that in 15 years when their shitbox dies they won’t have a manual to buy used.

This needs to be higher up. It’s not going to shut off while the car is moving. It’s just going to shut off if you’re an idiot who isn’t paying attention when putting your car in gear.

Owner error is not any fault of the designers. Porsches are meant to be driven. Not sit in garages. They advise you use a battery maintainer while the car is in storage.

It’s actually not near as bad as people make it. It sucks. But there are essentially “jump points” in the fuse panel.
