2009, not 2010. And it was more towards the move of DFI and not “solving” the issue with the IMS. There were several revisions of the 996 engine during it’s lifetime. And the later ones aren’t usually the major failures. It’s the late 90’s and early 00’s when it’s most prevalent.

A lot of that comes down to owner neglect in 9 out of 10 cases. Every spring I pressure wash the underside of my truck to get out all the salt and junk from the winter. That’s a step that pretty much everyone neglects. Or they use the generic “chassis wash” at their local drive through wash.

All his complaints are the generic Anti-Z complaints I see from people who’ve never driven them. Not saying he hasn’t owned one or anything. Just never seen a former Z owner make complaints about what is basically no fault of the car but their unrealistic expectations.

Doubt it all you want. Doesn’t make it any less true.
25 years ago? Yeah. Power windows added weight. Today? It’s more of a matter of cost. Power windows motors are pretty damn small now and really strong. When the Viper went to power windows everyone had a collective shit fit because of “hurr durr weight” but

My first aid boxes are mostly filled with buffout, psycho, jet, etc. I don’t think I’ve gotten even 50 since starting the game. And I’m also around 2 hours in.

I get a ton of buffout, jet, psycho, etc. Rarely ever stimpacks.

All door panels are tupperware. There was no surface break up which is why the Z33 had such goofy looking door panels. Just one big “flat” piece of door. It worked somewhat well with the minimalist driver focused interior. But it’s not like it’s rock hard plastic that’s so abundant in the rest of Nissan’s lineup. |
You

Really? I’ve been scrounging and scraping to find them. They aren’t common at all for me.

I don’t think the car was that bad. It was still a Neon (which SRT4 fans like to deny). But it was a neat car for the time and there’s no reason Dodge needed to make it other than to go fast lol.
I think you had a bad experience with one and kinda applied it to all of them. Unfortunately most of them are in the

I got reasonable gas mileage in mine. But it’s a sports car. Most people (myself included) get low 20’s.
The interior is very functional. It’s everything you need and none of what you don’t. It’s actually surprisingly good for 2004. Just not good in 2015. My biggest complaint was the door panels. But even then they

I’m curious... But what exactly were you looking for out of it? And why does it matter what you think over what the person actually buying it thinks?
The interior on them is great. A little “boring.” but it’s got good build quality and for the time the infotainment wasn’t bad.
Driving... It’s a Benz. It’s not like

It’s usually an excuse when people are grasping at straws. For the time the Z33 wasn’t crazy heavy. IIRC base models were down around 3300#. You felt some heft in the Z33 because of the steering. But it doesn’t drive like one would say as “heavy.”

As far as the SUVs... The X5/X6 you can feel in the steering being

Crank windows were never for weight savings but cost savings. It was a carryover feature from the first gen Neons.
Power Windows are usually lighter than the whole manual window regulator setup in a lot of cars.

Funny he went to Ontario and not Atlanta.
And find me proof that struts are cheap. Because your argument of “saving money” and “saving space” are both pretty much invalid without any proof. Goes both ways man. A properly tuned and designed strut suspension can easily outweigh any perceived benefits of a multilink.
And

“You have to be incredibly careful when removing wheels so that you don’t catch the edge of carbon rotors and chip them. “
You know you’re supposed to do this with all rotors, right? If that’s your argument, it holds very little water. Porsche (one of the more popular users of CCB) use guide pins for every wheel

What dealer is he at? area? The Porsche dealer community is very small, and I may actually know him. Or does that come too close to home that you’d be found out?
And you’d lie because you’ve lied several times. There’s nothing that’d bad about the 987 or 981 Cayman themselves. They are far from pieces of shit and most

Not really. no. The new Viper interior materials were better than the C6. But it was hobbled together and poorly assembled.

Got caught in a lie and somebody called you out on your bullshit.
Maybe you shouldn’t try lying on the internet next time.

Where are all these people who keep spinning MR2s?
I’ve driven my fair share of them and never had that problem.

It depends on the color. Ford’s Kodiak Brown is pretty terrible. But Porsche’s Mahogany Metallic isn’t too bad.
Still not my first choice of colors of course.
