It gets knocked a lot because it gets pretty terrible fuel economy. It’s pretty rough and not very refined. It’s expensive. As a truck it’s somewhat useless. etc etc.
There are reasons to hate it. I can see them. I thought it was okay because it literally filled the gap for what people really need in a truck as

Iron rotors that can handle that kind of track duty are much much more than $100 a rotor and will cost much more to replace over the life of the vehicle. As opposed to CCB which will last much much longer and only require pads basically.

I’ve driven a Viper ACR (the previous gen) and a 911 with PCCB. I’ll take the

lol that’s cute. Somebody has never actually been in a C7.

Yeah, no you haven’t. The interiors are far from being even on par with the C5 in the sonic or S10.
The Viper interior was better than the C6, way worse than the C7. And the only way it was better than the C6 was materials. Other than that it was a hobbled together piece of shit. There are more than several accounts

Sounds like you’re the only one here who is a “fucking baby” as you put it.
As far as your friend being a Porsche tech. Keep on lying lol. Because I got some bad news for you champ. I am one. And these cars don’t fall apart and are pretty far from “cheap.” You think struts are cheap. That’s fine. You’re entitled to be

Or just about any old Ferrari....

Actually it kind of is. He bases the picks off star clicks and what has a ton of replies.

ITT: People who assume cars meant to be functional are also supposed to be “good looking.”
What about the hideous ferraris that don’t have functional aero, but everyone here is constantly jerking themselves off about?
There are also a lot of cars on this list I’ve never heard people say are good looking. Something can

You mean the all-aluminum engine? Wouldn’t want that to rust.

Viper had a shit interior for years as well. And the new one was a step in the right direction. But it was terribly built. Gaps, loose components, rattles, etc. I’ve seen better interiors in entry level hyundais.

Because the Viper interior is garbage. Yes, including the current one.

Being a hobbled together piece of shit didn’t help it. Being manual only isn’t what killed it by any means. I’ve seen way too many traded in because of build quality issues that Dodge/SRT refused to address. Center console just hanging out and not bolted down? Not our problem. More than a few were traded in when I

It’s not about stopping you just fine. It’s about heat dissipation and keeping your brakes from fading and overheating.

Who says I’m cheap? There are better options if you want absurdly low maintenance intervals.

They are great cars to drive. But they aren’t exactly cheap to continually maintain. And most of them are beat to shit which raises the price of maintaining them even higher.

lol not even fucking close. How is it a cheap car? Go ahead and tell me. Detuned and smaller displacement 911 engines, suspension that is tuned and designed to outperform just about everything at it’s price point.
Tell me. What is cheap about it? Because the struts sure as hell aren’t. When is the last time you seen a

I’m actually a great guy. Not even close to an internet tough guy.

Been to rausch creek. I can confirm this. It’s a great set of trails. I’ve been meaning to get back up there since I’ve gotten the truck I have now. Just always been busy or something comes up.

lol if you think the 924, 944 or 968 are a bargain you have another thing coming.

Except the Cayman will not only be more fun, it’ll beat the shit out of the Miata on the track. The Miata’s suspension is not that magical. It’s actually pretty unimpressive.
