Well. If I’m feeling frisky. I can choose from a Z33, Z31, 1994 Rose Red F150 with a 5.8L Lightning engine, lifted WD22 Xterra, or 1966 Corvair.
I don’t drive because I’m concerned what people will think of me. Some of us are adults who live in the real world.

It’s all about where the swing is with the price. I’ve seen too many riced out Z32’s. Horrendous body kits, shitty mods, people asking way too much for them, etc etc. The Z33 hasn’t really hit that low point yet. But unfortunately it’s getting to it’s low point and being bought by the same idiots who were buying Z32’s

The Z33/Z34 chassis is a little portly. I won’t deny that. But my base 04 weighs in around 3350 IIRC. I think the bottom end of weight for the Z34 is around 3450 or so.
I wouldn’t call it “luxury car” heavy though. People add a lot of heavy options which naturally makes them skyrocket in weight. I mean it’s no Miata

Let me give you a tech tip if you’re going to try and act better on the internet and “correct” someone, make sure you know what you’re talking about first.

Not really, no. Ignorance on your part doesn’t garner any sympathy on my part.

You mean all the torque down low? that wasn’t very exciting? I drive Porsche’s daily and I still love my Z.

IE: The only time Panther cars are “fun” to the fools that buy them

I take it you’re not very active in the 300zx community. It definitely gives your perception of the 350z community a run for it’s money.

This wasn’t a question of what American or German car you could get for $20k. It was the fastest japanese cars you could get for $10k or less.
Pointing out you’d rather get x for more money is pretty much bullshit.

Z33 and Z31 owner here. I’ve seen a ton of BS reasoning against the 350z in here. From a “mushy” transmission to the powerband dying in the middle.
I think there’s a lot of people who just don’t like how it looks and are making up excuses having never driven it.

The Z33 styling wasn’t for everyone. The rear is what hasn’t really aged gracefully. The facelifted models actually don’t look as bad in the front.
And not good driver’s cars? I’d disagree. I’ve driven both the TT and Miata and bought a Z33 over both of them. They are a blast to drive and with the right tires will

If you’re concerned with how you look in a car I feel sorry that you feel inadequate.

ITT: People who’ve never driven a 350Z but feel like they are the experts to comment on it.

I don’t disagree. But the idea that this can’t be fine for just cruising and driving just because it doesn’t have a manual is bullshit. Had you bothered to read the post you’d know that.

Step 1.) Remove head from ass.
Step 2.) Click on link of post I replied to
Step 3.) Look at the images provided
Step 4.) Realize your mistake

It’s kind of shitty for sporting pretensions. But if it’s any consolation the NSX is still a great car regardless of transmission. You won’t be bombing through corners or anything as fast as the manual models. But to someone looking for just a nice car to drive, this is a hell of a good car.
Not everybody needs or

Shitty rims make it questionable at best about what other shitty mods have been done to it.

Except I’m not from Virginia. I just don’t have my head up my ass like you seem to.

“You guys”?
I’m not from Virginia.
