@viriiman: Virtualbox and Ubuntu, get used to the OS first then plan whatever you want to do. What little networking I learnt was all platform-agnostic, all you'd have to ignore are things like workgroups.

I read the reviews, check for any stupid ones (like "omg this doesn't work on iphone 3g, it sucks"), and if the price is low enough just go for it. I have hardly any 59p apps left in my wishlist because they are all worth a try. The more it costs the more thought it needs, but still never much. Anything high-selling…

@AmphetamineCrown: If you report the phone lost, and the IMEI is used the phone is bricked, not just the SIM card (which is used to get the message to the phone).

The file of ~/ Library/Preferences/com.apple.ipod.plist has all the info about all the devices ever connected to your computer. So.. I have my ipod, another two family ipods and a family iphone's details.

OR.. just a thought here.. we (I'm one) learn about pretty much everything else other than what we suck at (socialising, running a household) and are really clingy with parents. Which in my understanding is the opposite of precocious. It's just we can hold a conversation on a difficult topic before we're adults.

Last I saw something on this it said how the packages were hard to recognise (and therefore more expensive) in at least three significant ways (like weight, shape, colour?)

I wonder how they are splitting up the money. All of mine for both bundles went to the smaller charity.
