Great write-up on one of Hendrix's least-known albums. This was the first live album I ever bought that had tracks on it that hadn't been released in studio versions yet. Quite the opposite of the typical format when it comes to concert recordings. The version of "Machine Gun" on this is an epic Hendrix performance.
