My hopes were probably a little too high for Once Upon a Time..., but it was the only Tarantino film besides Death Proof that I didn’t enjoy. The movie never really congealed for me. It was like Burn After Reading; a lot of interesting scenes that never really coalesced into a complete film. I dug all of the

Oh, never mind.

Maybe someone should destroy this monument to stupidity before it kills more stupid people?

I’m fairly okay with the level of violence in Tarantino’s films. I have no problem with Kill Bill, or Inglorious Basterds. This one just rubbed me the wrong way, in that it felt like Taratino saying “Yeah, this is what you want to see happen to these people! Here you go!” when I don’t think the movie did enough to

Saturday, I saw The Art of Self Defense again (continue to love it), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (disappointing...didn’t really gel), Endgame (for the 15th and probably final time in the theater *choke*), and Booksmart one more time (slightly less impactful on second viewing, as I now knew what to expect, but still

I’d agree that the Spahn ranch sequence was very compelling, and there were other parts of the film that were pretty good, but for me, the whole thing never congealed. I’ve enjoyed every Tarantino film except for Death Proof, but for me, this latest film never really comes close to justifying its existence.

Not watching this, but can anybody tell me if it still features that funeral dirge rendition of “Forever Young”? Cause that’s just the kind of low-key, super depressing music that gets me amped for an action romp.

Fair point.

The problem facing the left is that for weeks, they’ve been touting the fact that Mueller will testify as “a game changer”, specifically because it’s one thing to read dispassionate words on paper, and another to hear them straight from the horse’s mouth. More than one liberal blog ran with the notion that “Americans

Not gonna read this, but I hope Maron ending the interview with, “So, are we cool?”

As President, Treasurer, and sole member* of the Please Turn Gay and Date Me, James Marsden Society, I’d like announce that the PTGDMJMS will be boycotting this film.

It must be exhausting having no sense of humor.

FINALLY I get to see Devon Sawa’s penis.

I never considered Blade a superhero, but then, I never considered Shang Chi a superhero, so what do I know?

I’ve been meaning to...

Our choir once performed on the televised mass WPVI used to show on Sundays. It was on the same stage as Captain Noah. I saw the slide back stage. WHO WANTS TO TOUCH ME?!

Gene London will kick all of your asses!
