AV Clubber here, and you’re right, a lot of bitching is going on over there. We used Disqus on the old site and Kinja has destroyed the comment section. An article that used to get hundreds of replies now gets dozens.

In Total agreement here. I was glued to my computer screen from that Friday-on. The videos began by late Sat. Some I can no longer find. I kept the weather reports up also, the phone was at my side because my son is in Houston. Joel Osteen is a Lying Sack of S**T! I haven’t cared about him one way or the other…

Since when does someone need a relevant degree or experience to be a commentator on something? I don’t have a degree is Dawes Studies, and I’ve never been to Laurel Canyon, but it doesn’t stop me from expressing the perfectly reasonable opinion that Jackson Browne should be required by law to put them in his will.

Jesus - when she sobs ‘why is he so angry’ is heartbreaking. His hands are actually on her and no one around her is able to stop him. She’s totally vulnerable, he’s unstable and everyone is helpless to prevent him from forcing her into his car. How absolutely terrifying.

Simple: he operates in a country full of “evangelicals” who think Donald Trump is God’s imperfect messenger, but that since he’s wealthy (and God only lets good people have good things) he must be kinda good somewhere, so he’s probably totally fine.

He tells people that they will get rich with minimal effort. People will do whatever to maintain the ilussion that that is possible. We are lazy animals.
