also, ain’t none of these actually $1
Hell Corner, Mountain Straight, Griffins’ Bend, The Cutting, Reid Park, Sulman Park, MacPhillamy Park, Skyline, The Dipper, The Esses, Forrest’s Elbow, Conrod Straight, The Chase, Murray’s Corner.
I literally do not give one single solitary fuck about the history of the names. It’s genuinely absurd.
I did a whole blog about it!
My dad had:
What they need is to f-off and die.
The whole blurb was an effort to start an argument in the comments section. Forget about it.
I like Kylo and Rey well enough. Kylo (aided by Driver’s performance) is a much more convincing case of a powerful, but troubled kid turning to the dark side than Anakin. Rey is kinda just girl-Luke, but that’s fine, and Ridley, in my opinion, is a better actor than young Mark Hamill.
...(clicks ad for $25 nearly new car) ... “Son of a bitch!!! $25,000?!?!? What a rip-off!!!”.
I got it just recently. 5 bucks a month to have access to every Top Gear episode now that they’re off Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon is worth it alone to me, the other stuff is just a bonus.
I think you’re thinking waaaaay too into this. It’s a truck, full stop. It’s not an artistic commentary on society. Driving it will not mean that you are inwardly a post-apocalyptic dystopia. It won’t make late stage capitalism traumatize you more than it already does. It’s a truck.
But, you did get a blog post out…
I don’t understand why looks should matter with a truck. No truck has even been good looking, and looks have never made a difference in their performance. Hell, all the chrome and stupid dressings on trucks just get damaged anyway if the truck is ever used for actual work. I like this thing simply because it’s 100%…
GUUUUUUH I’m so tired of answering this question. The sources are not hard to find if you look.
More importantly, last time, Tesla made a minivan/crossover; this time they made a truck. It’s not like their second most recent product, announced in March of this year, came from a dystopian sci-fi movie:
To be fair, it didn’t seem like she was criticizing the movie itself (aside from the part about Ken’s wife), but rather looking at the time it represented with a critical eye that others might not bother with. As a black guy who loves cars (and is an engineer), I enjoyed the movie, but also noticed how the only black…
This. So much this.
I understand that this is mainly picking on a ridiculous New York Post article (which is probably redundant), but I feel like this great movie is now balancing on the precipice of being a poster child for a bunch of hot button political topics, and I only ask: can we not?
You don’t either. What podcast are you referring to?
A movie about the Dakar or Isle of Man TT, but done like Ford v Ferrari?
