I think it’s safe to say that my country is a little perturbed at the moment with Trudeau because he seems to be backsliding on some of the “promises” he made when elected. However, he is still immensely popular, has a very decent outlook and yes, I still have faith that he will work towards doing the right things.

Read the book a few years ago and thought: “I like sci-fi and dystopian tales, but can’t quite place this story in a plausible, near future”.

In Obama’s defense, he’s actually kept more of his promises than most presidents and he has made multiple attempts to have GB closed.

Guy’s not perfect... but damn if he isn’t a damn sight more honest than usual. (for politicians)

So you “believe” it’s still open, therefore Obama was probably just conning us? And therefore both sides are basically the same? This kind of anti-factual reasoning is what gave us this national nightmare.
