I find his bubble charming, for the most part. Then again, I also listen to Garrison Keillor reruns. The only aspect of it that gets on my nerves is that he seems really dismissive of the possibility of financial constraints.

It's not even not knowing how to govern, it's that their ostensible platform is the belief that government itself is bad. So they run policy and nominate people that will explicitly prove that point.

It's entertaining, it's news, and our President is a former game show host.

I haven't listened to a new Sklarbro in months. I always feel like I'm on the verge of giving up on Night Vale, but my daughter loves it and we just saw our second live show the other week, so. I don't think I'll be in for Season 2 of Up & Vanished. Oh No Ross & Carrie got really grating after I realized that the

He seems pretty explicit that his reasoning for getting married is practical and financial, though.

My only issue with Season 2 is Usidore is weakened so he can't scream his head off all episode.

"The horse says 'DOCTORATE DENIED.'"

My understanding is that it's taking pretty much everything he has *to* be effective against the entrenched bureaucracy, and it's largely said bureaucracy that is shielding the abusers. Much of the career Vatican wants him gone very badly. Smashing up the Order of Malta has been a particular highlight.

The new season of Veep has already premiered.

And good for them.

Oh man, not the big fat eyes that are basically point presents, I mean the little fast ones that fly back and forth and drain your XP in addition to killing you.

I never minded the birds, but those goddamned flying eyes, especially the invisible ones, can burn in Hell.

I liked Knight. I like City and Origins better, but Knight deciding to move Predator Rooms to an open world format was absolutely fantastic.

Busy busy weekend for me: Directly from work, I'm going to my radio station WBER in Rochester to help out with our semi-annual Fundraiser Marathon. We're a non-profit, listener supported station, so these drives are our most important event of the year. So that's where I'll be until we can close out 15k for the day.

So is LiS, unless I'm mistaken. Still… touché.

LiS and Until Dawn are both relatively quick and cheap!

I have very little to add to all of this, except that it feels like you could add the Coen Brothers' film A Serious Man to the discussion about weathering Unspeakable And Unknowable Forces (tm).

That's exactly what I was going to point out. I'm shocked that I got this far down the comments without someone calling out that special bit of weirdness.

I like to think of the three of them drawing out schemes on construction paper, usually involving bags with giant $ printed on them.

OJ?
