Its not a problem. Maybe consumerism has ruined people’s perspectives, but it feels like people’s mindsets seem to be “I will buy this unless you give me a reason not to” which feels kinda fucked.

It is not a problem. The devs don’t owe particular groups of fans anything, and if they don’t give you what you want, you don’t owe them anything.

Oh ya, I used to miss the grinding now I’m like. I’m old... I dont have time to spend 5 hours grinding out a battle ready Pokemon. With 30 Exp Candidies I dont need too.

I mostly agree, but it’s not that GameFreak are lazy or anything. There are probably many devs who are very invested in delivering a good game. But they have to work on corporate interests and deliver the game on a very short time. I’m sure that’s the biggest problem.

Exactly, the target audience is just happy there are a ton of Pokemon to collect and will find a new favorite if their old one isn’t there

Grinding Raids is a GOD SEND. I dont have to spend hours leveling up a new Pokemon. I have so many XP Candies I can get any Pokemon I want to their final Evolution in a snap.

Yesterday, I told my daughter there were over 400 pokémons to catch. She was amazed. That’s all I really wanted from this game. I really like the QoL features that respect my time as a grown-ass adult also! Can’t say I relate to the baby-made shitstorm at all.

Hmm, and I only ever played 1, 2, and 1.5 solo.  But, then, I rarely played any of the Diablos with other people, either.

All I want from this game is more borderlands. Fuck innovation. Not every franchise needs a new gimmick. Give me updated graphics, tighten up the gunplay a bit, improve UI and character movement, and give me new story. They did that. Now they're getting my money.
