the impossible films are cool (but yeah...very pricy for what you get). sadly nobody (fuji or impossible) is making a peel apart film for my medium format that looks like 669 stock. been enjoying my fuji instax when i need to get my cheap polaroid on.

no, if that would be true, then it would be a pack of 669 instant film.

lovelovelove it. where do i pay?

as a book junkie and both ms tmronin and I are big fans of Dr.Seuss, we always give 1-3 Dr. Seuss books and the offer to come over and read them to the baby somewhere down the line.

still a scooter, still lame. i'd like to think that whoever picked this as HOTD doesn't skate or ride.

so so true. AT&T is the suck on both iphones and ipads.

ah, i see now...you are referring to your personal issue of these pictures being taken, not the case itself. that wasn't clear in your posting when i read it.

er...but everyone signed off on these shots that were used in a magazine almost a year ago - the parents signed off on Hailey's release with the photographer, her agency signed off on them to be used in the magazine and the various blog...no-one complained about the poses then - sure sounds like everyone involved was

totally.

that's awesome! i loves me some Shane. he's a rockstar and a car guy, so yay!

add me to Team Shupak.

call me crazy, but i think she was referring to being at a photoshoot re:i'm an object and the runway part was added on after that as a FYI in regards to the model and her CV.

yep, at 50m, it fills up with water.

oh no, not at all - it was funny. david at strobist is famous for nay-saying handheld light meters. but in his run&gun style of PJ shooting, he can get away with it. i just happen to like using my meter. it really makes life waay easier day to day (and repeatable) in and out of the studio.

i use both Strobist and traditional lighting styles...and i love my light meter. the in-camera metering measures the light reflecting off an object and a hand-held meter measures the actual light falling on the object. i just paid $400 to replace my stolen sekonic 358 meter.

God bless the italians for putting a loud horn on my ducati...it gets a workout here in brooklyn.

feh, the shooter is responsible for everything in the frame, it shouldn't have been hard to either shoot around the ugly cars in the background or pshop them out. really does ruin a decent shot of a good looking bug.

pretty much this in a nutshell.

oh thank goodness i wasn't the only one who did a double take after reading that. why the hell is there a Glee panel at COMIC CON!?!?

agreed.
