So, basically 40% of them. Got it.
Yeah, who really wears the pants in that castle?
Dunno, friend asked me to help him track down a CT70 for him. Found two in my area, one was $1100 and not running (“have all the parts to repair”), the other was in nice shape but they wanted $3300 for it. When I was riding, used bikes were roughly $1/cc, prices are crazy now.
Once saw a picture of a VW Rabbit (that’ll date me!) with snow tires on the rear. Took me far too long to figure out what the funny was. In my defense, this was in the early 80s, when FWD wasn’t so common.
Also, its going to probably require a hard border to go up b/n Ireland and N. Ireland which cannot be good.
What, you don’t enter your PIN number into LCD display on the ATM machine?
I’m really surprised there aren’t more aerodynamic aids on that bike. Wheel covers at least, maybe a small fairing.
To be fair, lot of firearms today are made of polymer plastics, and the bullets are non-ferrous, so if the detectors are tuned for steel they’re likely to miss those. No excuse, I know, but a possible explanation.
Somebody gotta keep Eagles fans in line.
Nope. I would never buy a house I intended to live in, or a car, without checking it out in person first. No matter how many pictures you look at, there’s no substitute for taking a look with your own eyes (and a listen with your own ears -- ever see a picture of a rod knock?)
“Minimum criteria? Them’s good eatin’, boy!”
Came here to recommend *Rendezvous*. Anybody can boot up a console game, it takes a real (mad)man to actually race flat-out through the streets of Paris.
I was a little concerned that the air bags didn’t seem to deploy. That was obviously a pretty hard hit, I’d expect a little impact sensor action.
The article said that the charging cables were cooled, I could see them extending that cooling to the battery (yes I know the batteries were also cooled, just pointing out that if the only time they needed cooling was during a fast recharge it makes sense to make that part of the charging apparatus and not hauling it…
Speeed is substtitute for accurancy.
Sounds cool, but how do you keep a 3-cylinder engine balanced at 11K RPM? Just position the crankshaft throws every 120 degrees?
LOL, back when you could buy a 356 for $27K. I don’t think you could even buy someone’s disassembled long-stalled 356 restoration project for under $50K today.
I’ve taken my daughter on plenty of grocery runs in my 944. It’s probably going to wind up being hers one of these days (although she’s got her sights set on a Jeep, much to my chagrin).
Nah, the top three would have to be cheap body kits, undercar lighting and fart can mufflers. Personalized license plates are way down on the “also-ran” list, down there with horns that play a tune and limo-grade window tint all around.
