Droves of intelligent people have been saying this since the early 90's. [sic]
2004 Xterra (V6, auto) is only $3100 near me, and that’s in the first dozen results of $5k and under on CL.
Companies that might be referred to as “too big to fail”, in other words.
Tasty and high-density. My daughter’s vegan and it’s a constant struggle to make sure she gets enough protein and amino acids to fuel her growth and activity. Wasn’t a problem back when I could give her some eggs for breakfast or a chicken breast sandwich.
Probably because the property taxes on wildlife sanctuaries are orders of magnitude lower than those on business properties. So they county stands to lose (guessing) thousands of dollars per year in tax revenue. Not sure how that will play out with the county zoning commission, but I don’t care enough to speculate.
And hey, winter is only seven months out of the year up there!
Looks like my old ‘81 626. Five speed, sunroof and RX-7 wheels. Still don’t miss that car.
What do you mean? The inverse buyout of NeXT by Apple is one of the legends of Silicon Valley.
Dunno, I think we might be at Peak Musclecar, in ten years or so everyone will want classic hot hatches and JDM legends. I’ve got a stock 944 in the garage under a cover, but I don’t expect to get back much more than I paid for it 25 years ago.
It’s a truck for a small demographic
Ten-year-0ld brodozer? Instant CP.
Never EVER rush a project to meet a car show deadline.
But if you jump into one while nobody’s looking, you can drive it home immediately!
So are these legal to import? If so, who do I have to kill call?
Wow, I hope so. I got my Outback from the last year of production with the 5AT. Unfortunately it’s already got 100K miles on it, so by the time it becomes valuable it’ll probably be too far gone.
Good luck finding one, though. They don’t last a day on the local CL, I asked my local MB dealer if he could let me know if they took one in and he said “I’ll put you on the list”. I’m in the mid-Atlantic region, so my experience may not be applicable, but don’t be surprised.
Pretty sure the 5th gen is CVT-only. I actually opted for a used ‘14 3.6R instead of a new one so I could get the five-speed auto.
Was actually disappointed to discover that, while my 2001 Audi had auto-up/down on all four windows, my 2014 Outback does not.
It’s actually not that legal, either.
