The significant casting I remember from The Stand was Rob Lowe - I recall it as being one of the more visible roles that helped him shake off the remaining stink from post-scandal purgatory.

Mondays are suddenly rather crowded viewing. Granted, nothing really A-level to speak of, but I'll take at least one night out of the week that runneth over with light entertainment.
