Ha-HA! Sexity…
This is a bit of a tangent, but I can't help but think of Awards season round-up. For a number of years now Best Documentary Feature has been one of if not these strongest category at the Oscars, BAFTAs, Independent Spirits, et al. But what is "best" - the film with the most important message or the well constructed…
Well put.
@avclub-1d9611114f69a2af507810370562ccd6:disqus - I enjoy when the corn lobby defends corn syrup as being no different than any other sugar. Even if that were the case, they neglect the fact that it's been pact into nearly processed food on the shelves today.
@avclub-32a2e71c97df5281f1324db72c73a59a:disqus - you're thinking of The Bridge.
That reminds me of the Torchwood: Miracle Day panel at D*Con where John Barrowman said he wanted to be cast with Fillion in something, particularly if there was a love scene. There was nary a dry fangirl panty in the place…
As a rabid doc watcher I take your point, but I've also seen a few films that get very lost trying to be flashy instead of delving into more important aspects of whatever topic they are presenting.
Received my copy through the Instant Fan Club last week! Going to be playing on my trip out of town today.
In which dimension do you exist because I'd very much like to visit…
I came late to the show (the start of this past half-season), and for all the joy it's brought me, now I have to suffer the agony of waiting to hear one way or the other if it's getting a renewal.
I know people who aren't big fans of British television who agree the UK original was great and the US version is horrid.
I want to say they've done something similar already.
I love Gok Wan. And that was a great show - it's so refreshing to see women of all shapes and sizes with such positive body images. Makes me wonder what I'm so fretful about.
Yes, but don't make me lose focus. I came here to be disappointed with Smash.
This is like finding out about the death of a celebrity you already thought was already dead…
Does not compute - the network that has laboured to make 99% of it's programming as braindead as possible suddenly cares about "serious" movies?
Has anyone else raised the topic of Hulu's "Best in Show" bracket contest? It seems like the type of thing designed to make TV Clubbers head's explode.
I started with "Dream Weavers" as you suggested, and I must say the show has charmed me…
Since the show is set in the 80's, do we get to include the wigs as Flashback Hair…?
