I am giddy that so many people recognize/remember this movie. I have such a deep fondness for this flick - a kitschy 80's nostalgia fondness, but a fondness none the less…

I've been trying to give her some slack, because clearly there is a whole rotation of directors and a crew of editors behind them who choose to include an overly long shot of her bleary-eyed pouting face each week.

I do like the dynamic of the triangle though - it was established that Cece had a habit of falling for jerks, so you can see where she'd pick a guy like Robbie and work hard to make that relationship stick. But for all Schmidt's douchebaggery, he has his charms and his random absurd ticks make it worth putting up with

Dammit, I just like this show. I feel like these are people I know in real life and I really enjoy spending time with them.
