With all the terrible animal-based reality series out there, I really wish The Incredible Dr Pol would get some attention - it's the only thing I can bare to watch on National Geographic Wild. Er, sorry - NAT GEO Wild, dawg!

Taking the gothic horror approach worked well for Cary Joji Fukunaga's adaptation of Jane Eyre last year (I thought) so maybe other adaptations of this period will be similarly inspired.
