Last season I assumed that Renard was pulling strings so that Nick was sent to work on any case that was Wesen related. This hasn't always applied, but when in doubt I shrug and presume as much.

Okay went to NBC's official page to see if they'd re-written Renard's character description and saw this:

One of the most annoying thing about this whole Juliet-amnesia plot is that it just keeps highlighting the problem with that character with more lazy storytelling. Over and over we're TOLD what a great couple they were, because we, the viewing audience sure as hell have never been shown any proof.

I had completely forgotten the Nuckelavee was meant to be a horse Wesen. When he shifted, I couldn't help exclaiming "Look, a pony!"

I didn't have as much of an issue with this week's episode. Not great, but good. To me, the CotW was secondary to getting down pat the Grimm world as it currently stands. Hank is easing into his new awareness and it's taken a huge weight off of things. Also wonderful to see our Eisbiber friend back (was that a Wesen

Curse you, @avclub-669aee218851553304392c2497857c4d:disqus ! Ugh, now that you've said it, it will no doubt become a reality. Which means we'll either get a goofy farce with an ironic appreciation for the source material, or a super dark and broody Columbo who's eye is wonky because he shot heroin in it while he was

There's a strange way the show goes about it's stories. There's properties that feature violent crimes as part of a police procedural, crimes that may be troubling, especially in a way to provoke an emotional response from the protagonist and the audience, but the story-telling doesn't focus on the gory details as

One thing that really did stick out this episode was how terribly apparent it is that the writer's room are old and are continuing to struggle to write young characters. Ace of Base was a hit in North America when I was in junior high - when these characters would have been infants!

I thought that as well, but perhaps there's one remaining writer who remembers what it is to carry a storyline through several episodes…

Wow - this episode reminded me of that cute show about the high school show choir that only lasted one season…

I didn't think the mash-up was so horrible, but maybe I was still in shock that Glee had finally remember that Broadway/show tunes existed before Wicked.
