Its the exact same math just done in a different order. Doubling or multiplying by two is the same thing, and knocking off a zero is dividing by 10. So according to PEMDAS, you’ll get it the same results.

There needs to be a 100% nationwide BAN against spanking, slapping, beating or otherwise physically assaulting children - no exceptions. And when she can’t pay that original ticket it doubles. And she has to pay every day her car gets held in police impound. And her license will eventually get suspended and she’ll get a warrant for failure to appear.
Someone needs to do a movie in the vein of “We Need To Talk About Kevin” about what happens to someone that witnesses these horrific acts.

She was smart to reject that ride because he either would have killed her or tried to extort her into sexual favors to get the car back. A cop tried that shit on my sister when she was in college and got pulled over late at night.
