Honestly, I really like what he did with the character in the Joss Whedon version of Justice League. Yes, I know Whedon is apparently an awful human being, but he did bring a bit of whimsy to Batman which I appreciated, and Affleck was perfect for. I like grimdark as much as the next guy (as long as I’m not standing

It’s a terrible situation, made even weirder because the former President of the United States of America is out there saying he literally thinks that it was premeditated murder on Baldwin’s part. Trump Jr. immediately was so gleeful that somebody ended up dead at Baldwin’s hands that he started selling T-shirts

Mitch and Wiger would be the first to say you shouldn’t give it any credibility. Just a really funny podcast.

Well, if skeffles doesn’t ever think of them, they might as well send the employees home and shut off the lights.

Even as a kid, MASH the movie was a tough watch for me because of how awful they treated Margaret.

Iron Man 3 is one of my top Marvel movies, I love that it was largely a Tony Stark movie, and the Mandarin twist was great. I was shocked that Mandarin had so many fans, he was always bottom tier for me, to the point that I wouldn’t buy a comic if he was the villain. It’s not like they even used him all that often, so

I’m a huge fan of the original (although, I never saw any of the sequels), I appreciate the sub-text, but I don’t have to have it, I’m also down for just some good old survival horror. I enjoyed the 2003 remake, and I actually was having fun with this one, but then the final scene kind of ruined it. I can suspend my

Both Whataburger and Firehouse Subs are fine, but neither one is anything I would consider especially good. Whataburger does have spicy ketchup which I like quite a bit (it’s in stores, but never tastes the same as it does at the restaurant).

I used to really want to try Tim Horton’s, but now that they’re owned by Burger King, I’m not nearly as interested.

Definitely not the same thing, but the flipping out thing made me think of it. Sounds like a shady place for sure.

I saw a man flip out at Subway one time, he misread the menu board, and screamed at the poor kid behind the counter. The menu board had something that said 5 dollar value menu, and listed items priced at 5 dollars. He misread it as value meal, and went full nuclear meltdown on the kid behind the counter when was

Yes, but I was one of those Americans that didn’t need to see proof, I knew that making the host of a reality tv show president was a recipe for disaster.

I would love to see Famke Jansen back as Jean, I felt kind of bad for her, X2 set up the Dark Phoenix Saga, and then they rushed the next one out to beat Singer’s Superman, and she ended up standing behind Magneto until Wolverine walks up and stabs her. It would be nice to see her get another shot at it.

The trailer made it look like  there might be something spooky going on, and it was A24, so that’s where my mind went. I do want to see it though, I like all the actors in it.

She was in a movie called The Humans (one of those A24 horror flicks, haven’t seen it, but it looks good. Came out during the pandemic), and has a show on Hulu called Life and Beth, don’t have Hulu, so can’t say whether it’s good or not.

The whole reason they opened it up to up to ten nominations was so that some more audience friendly fare might get in. Don’t Look Up got a nomination...let that sink in for a minute, Don’t Look Up is nominated for something other than a Razzie, and it’s a best picture nomination! It was an ok Netflix timewaster, but

And the movie shows that Oliver Stone is onto the scam. Still, I love the movie, and we’ve definitely seen a president get away with much worse over the last few years, so maybe they all avoided jail.

She’s awful, but her response about being thrown in the goulash was actually kind of funny. I’d bet that it was one of her aides that came up with it though.

Nope, never been there, and it was just a guess on my part. I do think Dave is way more than just a guy from Comedy Central, it’s not like it’s Doug Stanhope or something (hey, I like him too, but Netflix isn’t offering him 60 million plus to do stand-up specials). I would say it’s somewhat comparable to Jon Stewart,

I would still call myself a fan of his comedy, he’s a legit great comedian, but yeah, the more recent trans stuff is a bit inexplicable to me. The first couple of specials it just came across to me as good natured ribbing, and it was a small bit, but it seems he got caught up in an argument and it became didactic and
