All I know is that I really like the binge model, and two or three weeks of “cultural conversation” is more than enough. I do generally wait for all the episodes to release on other streamers, but that means weeks or months of trying to dodge spoilers, and some you just can’t. I really wish the other streamers would

I would add The Larry Sander’s Show to the list as the best work place sitcom ever, yes, including The Office and Park and Rec.

You mean that’s not Tig Notaro in that picture?

These series of trilogies are supposed to be the Skywalker saga, I wish JJ had just said that Kylo straight up lied, and come up with something else. I liked Last Jedi fine as a standalone movie, but it wasn’t a standalone movie, it was supposed to be the middle part of a trilogy.

I don’t know, I’m sure I’m not the only one that’s kept subscribing uninterrupted because of the release strategy. I can see what you’re saying, but if they ever change that strategy, I know I will cancel, so it’s more complicated than all that.

What about the $20 trick in Vegas? Anybody ever try that? I’ve been tempted, but with my luck, they would probably take the money and not even give me an upgrade.

I always use cash on vacation, so I won’t over spend.

I love their release strategy, it’s the reason I’ve stuck with them over other streaming services (that, and no ads). Now, even on other streamers, I wait for the season to finish, sign up, binge, then cancel.

Family Guy didn’t appeal to me, or his humor in general, so I’ve never really followed anything he’s done. Most women I know that have an opinion of him seem to think he’s a creep, so I think a certain segment that’s into him, probably guys that also really like Tucker Max.

It was kind of Iron Eagleish, but I guess they had to contrive a reason to get him back in a 1986 era F-14, that was combat related, and not an airshow or something.

There was a Red Flag tv movie that actually predates Top Gun by a few years.

Trader Joe’s has made a chip for someone who loves burnt chips. Does that person exist?”

Now you’re making me want to see a version of Smokey and the Bandit with Bo as Snowman.

I just saw a screening of American Graffiti a couple of weeks ago, pretty cool to finally see it on the big screen. His part was fairly small, but boy did his delivery make it memorable, “you must be going someplace, I mean, you left here didn’t ya?

I don’t know, we live in a world where they’re releasing a Super Pets movie about Krypto and his pals, and they at least had been planning a Wonder Twins movie. Hell, Peacemaker and Alfred got their own shows, a Mera movie or TV show seems at least as plausible as any of those.

She was my favorite part of the first Aquaman movie, I was really hoping they would make a standalone Mera movie with her. Doesn’t seem likely now.

I liked it well enough as a standalone movie, but it felt like when a new writer would take over a comic book, and immediately retcon everything the previous writer had done. That’s fine for an ongoing comic book, not so good for a film in the middle of a trilogy. I guess it’s not all of his fault, the studio should

I was so psyched for Studio 60, and I just couldn’t take it. They’re producing a variety show, it’s not that important in the scheme of things.

She’s listed on imdb as playing Penny Benjamin, which was referenced as an admiral’s daughter that Maverick had dated in the first one. I do wish they had included Charlie though, maybe a quick cameo as a senator or something.

Teller is 35, but Goose’s son was in the original movie, he looked to be around 4 or 5, so he would be in his 40's now. Unless they’re making it a period piece, taking place around 15 years ago, the ages just don’t work. But hey, movie magic, I know I’m seeing it opening weekend.
