I could see Close Encounters being part of the reason Roddenberry wrote the story he wrote, but everyone involved with the production that I’ve heard from in interviews over the years, up to and including Roddenberry, have said that the studio greenlit it for theatrical release because of Star Wars. I can’t even

Maybe that’s why I like it so much, I love Tarantino’s dialog, even in Death Proof, my favorite part is in the bar with all the banter between the girls and Stuntman Mike. I loved it on screen, it would be fun to see it on stage though.

Wow, I loved Hateful 8, one of my favorite Tarantino movies, maybe my favorite since Jackie Brown, it’s a high point to me.

Not me, but my step sister found a cigarette butt in her taco salad at Taco Cabana one time. For me, years ago, I was eating at Pizza Hut, and noticed a live fly in the parmesan shaker, just walking around on the parm.

I took my niece to see it when it came out, she was around 9 or 10, and about 45 minutes into it, she leaned over and whispered “are you sure we’re in the right movie?”

I listen to the Doughboys podcast, and have heard them review it, and occasionally mention it now and then. I looked it up and read about it when they reviewed it, so I’ve heard of it, have some knowledge of it, but have never experienced it firsthand.

Ms. Pac-Man was better.

I hadn’t really seen Tucker Carlson on anything since the early to mid 2000's, and I seemed to remember him as one of the less disgusting right wing pundits, not great, but not as bad as Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. Boy, he’s gone off the charts bad. I guess that’s what that particular audience wants though.

I was huge Fonz fan too, I remember my mom telling me the actor that played him was going to be on Johnny Carson that night, and I could stay up and watch it. I was crestfallen when there was a man with curly hair and a beard, not sounding at all like Fonzie.

He was also fantastic in Night Shift, that movie turned Michael Keaton into a star, but Henry was so good in it too, playing against type. One of my favorite comedy movies from the 80's!

Now that Marvel is introducing the multiverse, they really could, and should have Wesley back as his version of Blade.

I don’t think so, but I would love to see a straight up sequel to the 2004 Dawn of the Dead with the surviving characters. Yeah, I saw the after credits scene, but I can’t remember if we saw anyone actually die.

I remember Humanoids from the Deep back in the early 80's, the humanoids were invading the surface to mate with human women. The movie ended with a girl giving birth to a humanoid.

I remember when I was a kid, McDonald’s had a day where kids below a certain age could get a free ice cream sunday. We drove by, and the place was jam packed with tricycle motors, and my mom was like, nope, and took me to Braum’s to just buy me a real ice cream sunday. It was bigger and better, but I was so bummed, I

I get what you’re saying, but I do give him credit for making everybody where a mask and social distance, so at least his shows aren’t super spreader events. But yeah, it’s still a risk, even with the precautions.

So good in Veep!

Air fryer, it might actually be better, in it’s own way, than when it’s fresh.

Yeah, I remember a guy I knew would always say he was “being honest” when his shitty opinions fell flat, after awhile, I told him that made it sound like he was lying if he didn’t specifically say he was being honest. Because I didn’t have to tell people that I was being honest, I just was.

Back in the 90's, I spent a year in Detroit one Summer, and eating Detroit style pizza from Buddy’s was the highlight.

Their pan pizza started sucking around 20-25 years ago, so I have high hopes for  this. Actually, most of their pizzas have degraded in quality since Yum Brands bought them out, I wish they would make them like they did before that, maybe just call them premium pizzas and have an upcharge for them, I would gladly pay
