He’s simply one of the best stand up comedians working today, the guy can really tell a story. Maybe he’s not as good as a sketch comedian, I know I didn’t care for his Netflix special that was a parody of old children’s shows, but his stand up specials have no equals (maybe Chappelle, if he would give the trans jokes

I cannot let that pass without defending my favorite beer, love Killian’s!

Sarah Paulson is great, but it seems like they could have gone with a full figured actress. Ashley Atkinson springs to mind.

Never heard of which, peanuts and Coke or driving while drinking a beverage before 1990 or so? The first one I can believe (it’s common enough, but if nobody in your immediate family or circle of friends was into it, why would you know about it), the second not so much.

Oh yeah, most Okies consider themselves southerners, as did I when I was younger, until I was in the Navy, and when I told people I was from the south, people from the real South would laugh their asses off. Stopped saying that after that happened a few times. Peanuts and Coke was definitely a thing in Oklahoma, but I

At least he managed to outlive Sylvia Browne, you just know if it had been the other way around, she would be all over tv claiming to be in contact with him in the spirit world, and that he had apologized to her.

Yeah, cigarettes and add on cup holders were both so ubiquitous back in the 70's, I thought that both were something I would have when I grew up, I would smoke and I would have to buy a cup holder for the car, didn’t do either as it turned out. Just as an aside, I also remember my mother serving as the cup holder on

I guess for most it was, and I did think it was funny, but far from one of my favorite moments. A few years after this, I had actually forgotten that it was even in the movie, I was dating a girl, and showed her the movie, she loved it up until that scene. After that, she was really uncomfortable, and couldn’t believe

Oh my gosh! I remember back in maybe ‘77 or ‘78, when I was around 9 or 10, there was only a handful of different sodas, no diet ones yet, except for maybe Tab. The convenience store by me, U-Totem, had their sodas in a cooler behind the counter (still in glass bottles), so you had to tell the cashier what you wanted,

But people still bought plastic cup holders or made their own makeshift ones, drinking a beverage while driving is definitely not a recent thing.

I know in the 70's my dad always had either makeshift cup holders or store bought plastic cup holders you could hang off something. I didn’t exactly grow up in the south (Oklahoma), but I had heard of peanuts and Coke as a thing, although never tried it myself.

Back in the day, when Mr. Rogers was on, and you turned, oh, I don’t know 12 or 13, you felt you were too old for it. Kids that age would kind of make fun Mr. Rogers, of course, when most people got older, they grew out of that, and realized how great he was, and how he helped you be a better person. Trump never seems

I googled it, and it seems like she said all that needs to be said about it in an article not specifically about eisbock. I mean, sure you can go into mouth feel, aroma, and all that jazz, but this is an article about 90's marketing of ice beer, a quick mention is all that seems to be needed.

Nope, not kidding. It was John Gibson, it was even worse than I remembered, he played funeral music before the “joke” and then when he was criticized, he just shrugged and said he never passes up a good joke. He did get fired a couple of years later for making a racially charged joke about Eric Holder.

I remember after Heath Ledger died, one of those FOX News hosts played the “I wish I knew how to quit you” clip from Brokeback Mountain, and he made the hilarious joke, “well, he knew how to quit you...he died!”

Yes, when I was in high school back in the 80's, most of the popular girls were dating guys in their 20's, one was even dating a guy in his early 30's, she would even bring him to school functions, none of the teachers said anything. I do remember at one school party, we were playing a game, and that guy was standing

I am ambivalent about pineapple, it’s fine, if it’s on a pizza, I’ll have a slice. But I will stick up for anchovies, they’re great on pizza, gives it a nice bite. Admittedly, I never had them on pizza until I was in my 30's, I always heard people on shows specify no anchovies (which is silly, no place just throws

The Pizza Hut’s here would have a lunch buffet, but the Pizza Inn’s would have a dinner buffet from, I think, 6 to 8. Used to love that as a kid.

I always kept the raisins for the teenagers that were clearly too old to be trick or treating. If you’re old enough to drive, get your own candy.

“Shut up and sing!”
