The idea that a movie character might be overshadowed by his animated TV version seems ridiculous, but in this case, it’s surprising plausible.

The Cloud City duel is amazing, dude. The sets are smaller, but that works to their advantage. They’re kind of claustrophobic, especially the triangular hallway, which contributes to tension.

The first season is less awesome, but still great. The Grand Inquisitor is no Darth Vader, but his still creepy and awesome. Vader-lite, if you will.

Absolutely. Standing on top of a TIE fighter descending out of the mist? So impractical, but so awesome.

Star Wars: Rebels is just KILLING it. Especially when it comes to Vader. If anything, the modifications to the mask for animation make it MORE intimidating. And, of course, he’s this unstoppable force-of-nature killing machine. This is Vader at his most badass. Heck, Rebels’ depiction of Vader is as good as his

I have only one thing to say:

The best part is totally Tick’s exaggerated steps. The other stuff is really funny and fun, but the little detail of the thumping totally sells it.

I don’t think that’s a bad thing. The juxtaposition of the ridiculous and the mundane is interesting/amusing. Again, it’s different from the other interpretations of The Tick, but I don’t think it’s bad.

Certainly seems to have a different tone from the animated series and the other live action one, particularly that scene where Tick laughs maniacally at the storage unit full of gun-toting baddies, but... I’m optimistic. This look good.

A black hole that weighed 606,000 metric tons would have a power output of 160 petawatts and and last for about 3.5 years. Depending on the size of the ship and how effeciently you could convert that power into speed, you could probably reach 10% the speed of light in less than a year with that kind of power output. A

And how exactly can we tell that that’s the Indian ocean?

An entire race that’s good at computer hacking? Really? How much of their history was THAT useful for?

Best theory ever.

Okay then, if I can’t trust an author to look for squiggly red lines, etc. :)

Bravo. That may have been simultaneously the least complete and the most complete answer ever. Congratulations.

First question: What?

That was my first thought as well, but the pig-Latin would actually be orce-userFay.

Incredibly obvious typos like this show a lack of respect for readers and reduce credibility. If I can’t trust an author to run spellcheck, can I really trust him to go to the trouble of checking his sources? Plus, they’re just annoying.

Also, it doesn’t matter if the article has an “edit” button if no one points out

orce-userF

It would take a small enough black hole a really long time to absorb Jupiter, especially considering that it would be constantly re-emitting a lot of the mass-energy it absorbed as Hawking radiation. It’d be the very process of accretion which would heat up Jupiter’s insides and make it shine like a star for hundreds
