Pivotally, Romo’s enthusiasm is contagious. He sounds like he’s genuinely having a good time watching the game.  That goes a long way.

Agree 100%. There is something refreshing about a color guy who confidently predicts the action, and is actually RIGHT most of the time. Say what you want about Romo, that second part is rare in most NFL booths.

I actually love Romo’s commentating (I generally hate commentators because they’re all fucking boring).

Bernie’s was a little different, too. He was more into identifying the defensive coverage in real time which I really loved. “Defense is showing cover 3 here... and now safety moved too early and gave away that it was actually 2-deep.” That kind of stuff, which was awesome.  #dp

Yes Canada (and most of Europe) does the payment step differently than America, due to “chip and pin” vs “chip and signature.”. In America they take your card from you, do a pre-authorization, bring back the check, you fill out the tip and total and sign and leave that signed receipt on the table.
