No, here's one more! I don't know if I'd say it's a "good" movie, but I definitely like it.

Hahaha, I don't remember that at all! I know I thought it was a pretty cool movie when I watched it, though I was ca 10 years then, so I guess the bar for cool wasn't that high.

It doesn't have to be good to be the most 90s movie out there. :P

Very good point. Ugh, that play really has a horrible premise.

Oh and Allison Janney of course! Forgot to mention her.

Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger. Some light feminism. Cliché romcom stuff but also some less cliché stuff mixed in. Feel-good goodness. Those would be my main points in favour of the movie anyway.

There's a bunch of good actors (or at least actors who are good-looking and have been in good movies and TV shows since) in it. I think that helps. And not everyone is bothered by a movie "aging badly". I love War Games, and I that was dated by the time I was born, let alone the first time I watched it.

    Meh, just write #life.

Yeah, using emojis clearly make you a bad person.

I might have a nightmare about this tonight.

Well, it's not the 90s anymore, and you don't have to pay in order to watch a movie.

    :(

I think it did pretty well. Though I watched the movie before I read the comic, so perhaps that messed with my perspective.

It would be kind of cool if she stayed on the show after they break up, and we get to see her date a woman.

Is that a hipster thing? I agree people seem to have a really low bar for musical numbers though. Which is strange, because the musicals referenced in this (and La La Land, and other musical TV episodes) are all full of really talented people who have rehearsed A LOT. So it's not like they haven't seen it done well

Both of them are in a slump - it's just that The Flash's slump has lasted longer.

It's weird that the break-up on Supergirl felt contrived (which I agree with), considering Kara really, really should break up with Mon-El. They just managed to find a confusing way for her to do it!

Possibly. I wouldn't mind a little less focus on season-long villains actually. But if they want to keep that format, I think there are many ways to do that.

I wish I'd have seen more different types of kids on TV, so I wouldn't act so awkward every time people act in a way I don't understand. It would have been great to learn to deal with difference earlier.
