Oh dear. Trading the childhood flashbacks for flashbacks from the missing years makes a lot of sense. It would also be horrible. Like taking a part of the heart of the show out.

Am I the only one absolutely hating this? I don't think time jumps work on television shows, because a large part of their whole 'deal' is that they let you follow characters as they move through life, whereas movies are more of a slice of people's lives, or, if they chronicle an entire life, little visits throughout.

That's… bonkers. But it would have been equally strange if it was set in the future.

    Hmm?

Yes me too! Though my exceptions are different: Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Black-ish.

In that case medication could be bad for him, but I assume that's not what the show implied, and that it's a more general idea. That's too bad.

The actors are good (it's Pudi for chrissake!), but yep, the characters leave no impression.

    Okay, then I understand!

I quit Mr. Robot sometime during the second season, but I have to say it's the most visually clever and good-looking show I've seen in a long time. Now I'm adding Legion to that list. I hope there will be more TV shows that pay such attention to the visual aspect of TV show storytelling!

I missed whatever scene that was implicated in. Agree about that idea though. But I'm not sure he's actually supposed to be schizophrenic. It seems undetermined at this point.

I don't think Supergirl is usually a background kind of TV show, but that entirely depends on what themes you enjoy seeing shows explore (I'm all about the feminism and slightly heavy-handed lessons on compassion). But it doesn't require actually watching the screen like this does, and I think Supergirl and the other
