And Webb wasn't bad, visually. His action scenes worked and the true character moments in his movies were fine. It's just that apparently the script for ASM2 was horrible and the studio was dumb. I like ASM, though. But that could've been a better movie.

There's quite a few jokes in MoS.

Same! I've been telling people that this is shaping up to be a great birthday present. Everything I've been watching and hearing about this movie has made me go from "I'll probably watch it just to understand the Rian Johnson movie" to "I think I'll definitely watch this in the theater."

I can see that. That'd be an interesting angle. I'm still not sure what Wright objected to. I don't think we'll know for a very long time.

The more I've watched it and thought about it, the problem with the third act is that the directing isn't as elegant as in the rest of the movie. It could get away with turning into a slasher of movie of sorts, if it had been directed with the same grace as the rest of the movie. Up until that point of the movie, the

If it was really unwise, no movies would be made at all and no one in Hollywood would have a career.

Aw, snap! High-five!

Nah, I hear you, I don't want you to argue about anything.Even though I like or love most of his movies, I think I could agree that his movies often don't end at the same level they begin with.

Like almost every Marvel movie?

You're sort of repeating what I said. I think that things were okay between Marvel and Wright until they really wanted to make Ant-Man a prominent part of the MCU. I almost think it would have been better as its own, slightly connected thing as "Daredevil" is right now. Just letting it be its own thing, with the

What a compelling argument! In all seriousness, I don't know about that. I mean, if you count stuff like "A Life Less Ordinary", and "The Beach" it's hard to say, because those movies have problems through and through. I could tell you that "Trance" was pretty weak too, but that applies almost to the whole movie. I

Besides "Sunshine" (which has a 3rd act I've grown to actually like) and potentially "28 Days Later", what other Boyle movies have third act problems?

With Edgar Wright, he was on board Ant-Man for about eight to nine years. Quite a while before the MCU had become a thing. The specifics are shady, but he probably wasn't satisfied with having to change his take on the movie. Keep in mind that in being a filmmaker, you always risk doing this. If you fear it, you might

Don't worry, I'm also laz, ah, forget about it (falls asleep)

What? (Gets molten gold poured on like Smaug at the end of The Desolation of…Smaug)

There's Viagra for that.

Now you're aware. Keep it up.

Either you posted this on the other news piece, or you're not alone in the argument you're making and the wording of it. I'm not really complaining, I think I mostly agree with you.

What an amazing, compelling argument.

Why?
