I think people are just confused because the article right after that one mentions Scott Snyder.

I think Superman will kill people if he has to. I don't have a problem with him killing Zod in MoS, I have a problem with him not trying to prevent more chaos and destruction, or actually trying to save people. And I think Snyder's best film is Dawn of the Dead, so I'm not sure if I agree with you when saying he has…
The Flash Movie. They're not necessarily slated to direct, just to write. As far as I know.
Although I have my issues with Snyder's filmmaking, I wouldn't call him vapid. And I don't know if I'd necessarily call the Marvel movies as distinct. They all kind of look alike. And I say it as someone who thinks that Marvel has been doing a generally good job with the MCU, but only few of its films have been…
Where does the whole thing about it all somehow being Zack Snyder's idea come from?
What a compelling, convincing response.
It was like Raid for my expectations!
True, you'd expect that after the marketing for GOTG worked so well, they'd repeat that somehow. But then again, it's likely that they're trying to hide they don't really have faith in this movie.
Sorry, but where does it say that Zack Snyder didn't like the direction she was taking things?
We're talking Zack Snyder here, not Michael Bay.
She also did Hooligans, which was a pretty good movie. She's said she's not really interested in the gig, though.
Sounds a tiny little bit like "The Five Obstructions."
You know, if we're talking movies, the 70s were the decade that gave us: Leia Organa, Ripley, Nurse Ratched, Diana Christensen, Maude, Alice Hyatt, Mabel Longhetti, Charlotte Andergast, Eva Andergast, Melody Perkins, and others. So quite a few great, memorable roles for women of all ages. Not saying we don't have them…
Jurassic Park may not be perfect or high-art, but it's a great movie. I won't judge Jurassic World just yet, but this clip made me realize that the original film was very clever in handling exposition and character moments.
I don't mind the scene so much, but this got me thinking about why the character and expository scenes in Jurassic Park work so well. It's not a movie that's so well known for that, but the characters are interesting and memorable nonetheless. Notice how the scene when Malcolm explains Chaos Theory to Ellie isn't just…
He comes across as a nicer version of The Comedian in Watchmen. I don't mind the lack of chemistry, given they're not supposed to get along. I'm actually hoping the movie goes for that instead of them ending up together at the end or something similar.
This sequence in particular reminds me of why it bothers me so much when people say that the movie was too theatrical or not cinematic enough. Bullshit. This is the sort of sequence cinema was made for.
Buddypic kinda had (or has?) the same scheme, although you'd also put up a profile with likes, dislikes, and that kind of crap.
Well, it's one of the few movies to use an actual Beatles song.
You're not so alone. I will totally watch this when it comes out, but nothing in the trailers suggests it'll be a movie that has any real significant impact, not even on the MCU. Also same old same old armies of drones, quips, etc.
